We could use Allen’s defense on Lillard and MCCollum. It doesn’t sound like Kyrie is making the trip. Any word on Brown?

This might be a **** show, least the Celts' black jerseys vs Blazers' red is a sick uni matchup. So...there's that?

How are these guys as good as they have been? I know Dame is a beast but sheesh..

Don't care about the W or L..just don't get anybody injured.

The Celtics indeed have had some miraculous like wins this season, so why not do the same against the Blazers?

I know the wins and losses are more or less trivial at this point but they can’t continue rolling out Semi and Nader on the wing for much longer. These two are absolutely killing the Celtics while they are out there. Semi can maybe make a jump next year in his sophomore campaign but Nader is clearly a quadruple A player at most. They need Brown back ASAP or they need to give Jabari Bird a serious look

Jabari Bird gets his first career triple double to lead us to an easy win.

The danger here is that Nurcic will eat Horford alive and chew him up into a thousand little pieces. The Celtics also have to deal with Lillard and McCollum without Smart.

This game is going to be ugly either way it shakes out.

If the blazers lose to our skeleton crew, ugly

If we best them with our skeleton crew, ugly.

Did you steal an article headline from his high school days?

I didn't know Nurcic started at PF?

Baynes/Moose will be on that guy most the time. Horford will spend his time on stretch 4 Aminu.

I think those may both be the same way... :D
I'm on board with that way, though. I get to be at this one, so hope one or both of the Cal guards can go. Agree with Homer that the Nader/Semi combo is killing us.

I had some wild dreams last night. A lot of mishmash, but some of it was about this board. All I remember right now: BRUNiNHO got made a mod, but then immediately got suspended for 14 days by another mod named "The Jerebko" for no apparent reason, and Ascrilas won a GOTB competition for the most "visually provocative pickup line", which included at least in part the phrase "wash a sock in your bowels". It made exactly as little sense as a pickup line in the dream as it does now, but the GOTB loved it.

I probably should have kept that to myself, but the urge to share wacky dreams can be overwhelming. And there's not exactly a dedicated thread for this sort of thing.

Jayson Tatum
Terry Rozier
Jaylen Brown

Got Irving and Hayward in the medical bay.

I feel so freaking spoiled to have this Celtics team in 2018. And I wouldn't even be surprised if I add one of Semi Oje, Theis, or Smart to that list come next season.

It's pretty cool to see Smart with the team already even if he can't play for several weeks. We need his energy barking on the bench and urging the guys to play defense on Dame and CJ.

This will be a tough one. Blazers have been on a roll (Dame cooled down against Rockets though). But we've done some improbable things this season so I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of this game being close at the end.
