Well, Ainge was allegedly gonna throw 3 1st rounder towards PG13. 4 1st rounders? Yeah, sure, but only if Kawhi agrees to an extension first (not even sure if that's possible though).

Salaries are not even remotely close. Celtics have to send about 12M back to the spurs for this to work.

Massive price, especially if 2 of those 4 picks are the kings pick and the Grizz pick. I’m a huge Brown fan but Kawhi is the level that you hope Brown can one day reach. I’m also nervous dealing with R.C. Buford. The spurs don’t make bad deals much like the Celtics

I think before you make any potential deal with Leonard it would be nice to also know what the hell is going on with Leonard to begin with?! Why is he MIA?

I think you would need to sign and trade Smart or Baynes at 10 mil to make salaries work too. My concern is less Buford and more Kawhi. 2 seasons in a row injured and what if this quad injury is tendon and the reason he is out is fear of rupture? I have heard he won’t play until he gets his new max (I’m guessing he can opt out?). Personally, I don’t think he is worth the price now that he is damaged goods. However, when healthy he is as good as anybody - Durant and Lebron included.

More obtainable than AD, this is like Kyrie all over again.

The market isn't going to be what the Spurs think. His contract situation & his mysterious injury will drive his value way down. Not interested in Brown + MEM + SAC. Maybe Brown + MEM

I wouldnt give up brown and all those firsts for Kawhi.

I like Leonard alot, but that is a crazy package.

The Felger factor.....lets not forget that he and Maz and followers are all about controversy....More likely its all about nothing....When have they ever broke a story?... Another smoke alarm to mention - remember when Kawhi came out a few weeks ago and said he wanted to stay with the Spurs? Antonio Daniels was on XM radio and he kept asking his co-host, "Dont you think there was something strange about that interview? The timing of it, and the answers?"

He then went on to say that he felt that the answers given by Leonard were "canned answers" and abruptly said "I'm just going to leave it at that. That's all I'm going to say!". Daniels used to play for the Spurs, so it sounded like he was hinting at something.

Hell no, that's way too much to give up considering Leonard may be damaged goods at this point. We would also have a glut of small forwards on the roster (Hayward, Tatum, Leonard).

With Kyrie it was easier. The Cavs are led by Lebron and a dumb owner/coach.

Brown for Kawhi doesn't remotely match salary-wise. It would take Brown and bunch more salary. But dudes who live in fantasy land don't bother with that, because you can just turn the cap off on 2K and push through whatever dumb deal you want.

Where in the world of fantasy do stupid proposals come from? And even worse, are people saying do it! Have you read history? Herschel walker? Show me one good trade giving up that much..

Probably would be something like Brown, Morris, Smart S&T, SAC pick, Memphis pick, Clippers pick, Our pick?

That's a ton. If he's healthy and re-signs, that could be worth it
