The hand touching the ball does not equal to a foul. The question is if it was a unnatural movement or an enlargement of the body surface.
The first decision was even more clear, that was an obvious flop from Griezmann.

Croatia played 90 minutes of extra time in three matches so an extra game. Forth game in eleven days, one more than frenchies, flukiest world cup winner ever.

Holland and Italy not even there. Germany, Brazil, Argentina knocked out early.

How is it the fault of France or Croatia that Germany, Brazil and Argentina disappointed during the tournament? That way of thinking is lacking some kind of substance. Also, 98 was not really cheating. I stand by my first half statement about the first two goals from France but the rest of the tournament went similar to the 2016 EC.

Don't have a dog in this fight but Croatia had one of the easiest roads to the Final that I can remember. The left side of the bracket was absolutely stacked and France had to objectively play better teams. France vs Belgium was the real Final.

I get that but you got an historical result, France stole you the final in 1998 and you got there this year, pretty big achievement for a nation with the number of citizens of Rome. I found it interesting that not many Croatian players were crying after the loss. You could call it a cultural difference (Spain cried a **** ocean after they got owned), but I think they also knew how big this was for Croatia regardless of the disappointing result in the finals.
