The Time Lord: Welcome Robert Williams!

Overview from The Ringer's draft guide

ESPN's Big Board has him as a lottery-level talent. Attitude concerns have let him slide, but at 27, his raw talent is just too much to ignore. Great pick for us, he brings things to the table we've been lacking so far, shot-blocking and an athletic lob-catching roll man.

I just stole the Tantalizer nickname (alluding to Woj's thesaurus shenanigans when announcing the pick on Twitter) from Reddit, I can edit it out if wanted.

But nonetheless, I am **** excited about this one!

I like the nick name. He should get some minute next year which is more than I expected from who ever we drafted at 27 going into the night.

If he develops well, Embiid may have some troubles with this guy.

Main thing I hope to see is him improving that putrid FT%. But all things considered, looks like an absolute steal for us at #27

So another lazy and small PF-C like yabusele and sullinger, ainge looks obsessed with these. He doesn't look fat at least, in the draft yabusele wasn't as fat as now tho, so who knows.

Like it! Needed a rim protector and got one.

I will admit I was holding my breath hoping Danny would move up to take a chance on Porter once he dropped, but we filled a gap with a value pick and kept all our 2019 picks so I'm happy

He’s not small at all. Dude has a 7’6” wingspan.

Im a huge fan of his. Elite rebounder and elite shot blocker and elite of the elite when it comes to athleticism. No offense to speak of, horrible FT shooter, can hunt for blocks instead of playing good defense and can throw some tantrums.

But you guys have the ability to put him in the ideal situation. 12-15 minutes a game, have him focus on just defense and rebounding. He can be a bigger and better version of what GS got with Jordan Bell last year. He is really the ideal center to go with your guys team going forward. Im still in shock you guys got him.

Uh what? He has a 7'6 wing span. Get out of here with that garbage.
