If only some day we use the bird exemption to sign him my life would be complete

Another rock solid performance from Jabari Bird. Got his within the flow of the offense and not by being a selfish chucker

He looks the goods. Can someone clarify the situation for me. So if someone offers him money we have the ability to match? Or do we have no real say?

We should do that.

This guy can ball - got the tools to play D and can score some.. Nader can go.. Not that keen on Yabu either.. He is like a chubby McCarty in my mind..

If Daniel and Austin Ainge are watching reruns of The Littlest Hobo and DeGrassi Junior High while another team swoops in and steals Bird it will be the second-biggest mistake Aingey-Boy ever made.
The Celtics have already cleared out 2 of their top 4 from last season for FG%, might be nice to keep the other two solid and efficient players.
Very poor job in the front office, should have swept Nader off the roster and put Bird on to play in the playoffs. Wouldn't be in this quandary if they had used their brains then.
Very poor job in the front office, should have signed him to a real contract when he was drafted, not this 2-way thing. Wouldn't be in this quandary if they had used their brains then.
The logical idea, Bird has to wait for another team to offer a real deal, he signs that, the Celtics match. Either Smart has gone, on a huge overpay, or the Celtics pay Nader to go away, that gets the roster spot.
A better idea, Celtics just offer Bird the deal of three years.
Bird has a higher PER than Smart, Larkin, Nader, Karen Allen and Semi.

Pretty sure the 76ers are out of space so the threat isn't real from them. They can offer and we will match. The Twolves still have some of the midlevel left.

Been telling anyone that would listen that this kid is an nba rotation player right now. If Rozier were to be traded I think Bird could give us a lot of what Terry did right now. He can handle, finish at the rim, shoot and move without the basketball.

Sign him now, stop messing around. He is a legitimate talent at the 2 guard position. Love how active he is around the basket and without the ball in his hands. He can shoot a little bit too.
Instant energy/offense off the bench for any team smart enough to sign him.

Most important thing is to find him someone with the last name McHale who he can pass to.

Saw this. They can find a taker for Yabusele and clear just over 2 million in salary for extra breathing room. It’s beyond time to cut our losses with Yabu
