I'm almost positive we will be playing the Lakers on Christmas. I don't see how the NBA passes Celtics-Lakers with LeBron up.

NY should not be on TV. We don't need to see owner tossing out old star Christmas Day. Or their idiot management attack Nate Archibald because he doesn't look like he belongs in his seat.BRUNiNHO91 wrote:ConstableGeneva wrote:truth18 wrote:
Predictions or wish list?
The Knicks will get a game.
It will probably be something like:
GS/Lakers
Knicks/Utah
Celtics/Sixers
Rockets/Bucks
Raptors/OKC
Prediction:
▪ Lakers-Celtics
▪ Warriors-Rockets
▪ Knicks-Sixers
▪ Pelicans-OKC
▪ Wolves-Jazz
Wish list: No lottery bound teams.
Truth, predictions or wish lists bro. Whichever you want. I listed my wish list at the end but originally I mostly wanted to know what you guys thought the NBA was going to put out there for us.
New York is an unbelievable vibe for Xmas games IMO. But their team just isn't good enough. Unless they face them off against another crappy team, to make it even. If they play Philly it would be an easy blow out.
Lakers x Celtics Warriors x Rockets has to happen though. I think they might try and push the Lakers x Warriors 'rivalry' **** down our throats, but the real NBA fan knows Lakers x Celtics is the way to go. Would easily be the most watched game of the night.

I think it would be more fun to blow out Golden State warriors. I just can't stand looking at the fakers uniforms and hate the drama queen. So for me lets crush gs.

Fantastic article on Hoopshype about free agency from players perspective. After reading it, it makes you realize what a fantastic organization the Celtics are running. Danny may seem like a cold hearted business first GM at times but his honesty and sincerity along with the relationship he has had with his coaches really impress after reading player horror stories.

1 Vegas betting site moved the Raptors in tied for best chance to trade for Kawhi. Reading that board after was amazing. Guys posting twitter links to guys with 10 followers saying the deal is done and all of them expecting a trade without mins of the report.
Those guys.

Masai totally empty all assets they have and add Kawhi to the team. Now they have no depth and Kawhi and Ibaka/Demar fight all season, Kawhi and Masai both leave at seasons end.
Seems like a course of action for Toronto to take.

Horford comparisons are so legit
Way more legit than I could have ever imagined in almost every aspect. It is summer league, but he is doing so many things well. Hitting threes, scoring down low, hitting the midrange, can switch on anybody, protect the rim, quickly moving the ball to right guy, passing out of the pick and roll. His versatility is ridiculous.

It's the first time they've ever been the odds-on favorite for anything. Let's not tell them that these odds constantly change and that the Raptors have probably been the 5th different favorite. Will be fun watching the shambles when the odds change again.

Surely this means that Schroder is on the way out. Lin brought in for depth and mentoring of Trae

Does this deal give the Nets room to sign Smart now?

Nope. They took on an extra 8.5 million salary even after dumping Lin. They have no cap space.

I think the drafting of Trae definately signaled that Schroeder was going out, question I ask is where?
If Charlotte moves Kemba that would be a landing spot I suppose?
Maybe Phoenix?

I could see a Atlanta / New Orleans deal.
Schroder makes 15.5 idk how much salary NO would have to send out to make it work. But as a cap dump deal? Ajinca, Emeka, Liggins & Diallo takes them to like $11mil is that enough? Maybe Hill, & Diallo? Hill, Ajinca & a pick? Idk.
Other than that? Charlotte is Walker is moved. Orlando? Doubt it tho. So yeah Phoenix is the only other choice i could see. Chandler straight up. Dudley & Daniels? Something simple like that could be done.
Idk if i'm PHX do i wanna pay him 3 more years at $15mil per?

Right after what 3 years?
I don't get it. This guy was a beast in the FIBA championships (or was it the '14 olympics?) But he killed it. & Then they legit just benched him ever since.
I get that the NBA changed, but he should be playing at least. No reason why he can't a 3rd big on a good team. Hustle, rebound, get easy buckets. I get that he doens't fit the "can't shoot nor change the game on defense" but there guys that still make a difference.
Like a team like Washington. They could use an athletic big man to run with them.

I honestly find it weird that he is so bad defensively. He is very athletic so you would think he would be able to switch on the perimeter and protect the rim adequately.
