so Toronto may break things up for a rental...plus the picks....he leaves for LA in a year probably....priceless.....

It's worth it for them. They know (or at least should) that Lowry and DeRozan isn't cutting it in the playoffs. This is probably the last year they have of this core

I'm a lot better with Toronto giving the Spurs Derozan for Kawhi, rather than Philly getting him without giving away too much that will hurt them on the floor

I am curious to see how DeRozan plays under Pop and how Kawhi plays outside of Spurs.

Imagine DeRozan turns into Kawhi and Kawhi turns into DeRozan.

Pop wants a good team to make another two playoff runs before he retires. DeRozan is a pretty good player and while the Raptor have obviously not done as well as the Raptors might like DeRozan may blossom in a new situation with a HOF coach. OG is a good role player. Raptors get to shake things up and if Kawhi doesn't work out he is an expiring anyway. Not the worst trade for San Antonio. This will be hilarious seeing Toronto lose early in the playoffs and then lose Kawhi next offseason. :lol:

They'll be no better off than last year, and they'll have nothing to show for giving up their best asset and a decent prospect. With Kawhi and Lowry's injury history, they won't even make the playoffs if either one lose significant time.
