For the Tendinitis I would recommend that he takes some glucosomine sulfate supplement like Osteo Bi-Flex triple strength. Athletes who run and jump a lot burn up cartilage at higher rate. Taking glucosamine sulfate supplements help to regenerate joint cartilage. I would also recommend that he takes some fish oil tablets with his meals. In addition I would advise him to get a good magnesium supplement.

I take that myself. The Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM, Osteo Bi-Flex triple strength. It takes a week or so, to start feeling the benefits. And about a month, to get the full effect. But, it's worth it. It's made out of 4 types of Shellfish. So if you're allergic, then you gotta go with something else.

Does anyone know if Celtics players take any joint supplements? I know a famous athletic trainer who recommends them for athletes.

If his knee issue really is just a bit of tendinitis, then that should be treatable. And a bruise from knocked knees is about as good a game injury as you could hope for. I could see some serious rest, other than working on his shot, as being a good prescription for a good part of the you fella's summer. Playing college ball and then prepping for and going through the draft process can be tough on a player with such an injury and the C's undoubtedly want him fully cured by the fall.

Good. Better off getting that knee healed. We could see in the first few minutes that he can play.

Man I was hoping to watch him play in SL. I doubt I will be watching an RedClaws games this year. So we will have a wait a while to see him play for the Celtics if he doesn’t play in SL.

I doubt they send him to Maine. Keep him on the main roster and keep him right next to Baynes, Horford and Theis to learn

I don't think he goes to maine. I think he makes the team. All he has to do is rebound, block and alter shots, and set screens. Anything else would be a bonus. He has the body, height to play in the NBA now, all he needs is coaching.

My take so far on Williams....I like his abilities....but I want to see some real "mean and nasty mustard" from this guy...hope he doesn't turn out to be some sort of wallflower when it comes to toughness and wanting to play more than sit nursing an injury....If he ends up being the latter, we will all know why he was passed over by so many needy teams in the draft...I'm hopeful that's not the case...But this development won't help his stock rise with me one little bit....Like so many here, I'm just sick of seeing our players go down injured...
