I'm guessing Smart plays. Considering I'm going to the game tomorrow (yep!), I sure hope so. Oh,and that the C's tie it up.

All signs point to smart playing. He could be the spark that turns this series around. Game 4 is ours.

If and when Smart plays, he'll be on a restriction of 4-5 min spurts.

Genuinely concerned for Smart's well being. Clearly he's being rushed because we can't handle business at home.

Hope he sits. it's foolish to rush someone back and risk further injury. He'll also be a bit rusty....not a good game to gamble with his playing time.

Take care of business and bring him back game 6 at home if we can. If we don't force a game six, it's simply not meant to be.

So a do or die game isn't worth the gamble but Game 6 is? A game we may not even reach... Smart will have all offseason to rest. Assuming he's even a celtic next year anyway. If he can play then now is absolutely the time.

IS here evidence that he is being rushed? Initially it was 4 to 6 weeks before he would be back, and it is now past 4 weeks.

The evidence is the fact he's still questionable. I don't know about you but I interpret that as being far less than 100%.

I have zero faith in this training staff, so I'm sure they'll OK him to play and then he'll re-injure himself diving for a loose ball. I wouldn't play him until it was a do-or-die situation, unless he's truly healthy or the downside risk to re-injury wasn't that severe (as in, if he re-injures himself, he wouldn't do any long-term additional damage).

This game is pretty much do-or-die. No point in saving him if he can go.

Hey. Celtics. Looks what happens when you pass the ball and move it?

Holy carp. Passing works.
