CELTIC PRIDE

They play every team at least twice though.

Not on two of the most-watched games of the year though.
Last year it was the Cavs in the opener and the Wizards on Christmas. This made sense, obviously the top two East teams in the opener and a Playoff Rival from the year before on Christmas. Would it have made sense to play the Cavs twice in that scenario, or the Wizards? Nah.

The league is trying to force the Celtics/Sixers, I'd have much rather it have been the Raptors, the actual real competition for the C's this year. But there are really only so many options, because you knew it'd be Lakers/Warriors. I just dont get how this could possibly be construed as the league disrespecting the Celtics lol.

I don't think it's disrespect, I just wanted the Lakers![]()
Sick of LBJ vs. the Warriors on Christmas and I'd rather have different matchups for different marquee dates.

Can we just fast forward to opening night already?
PierceFan4ever wrote:Nba is always weird with the Celtics on Christmas matchups. For some odd reason they do their best to avoid lakers/Celtics instead they always preferred the Lebron matchup whether it was against Kobe and the lakers when the Celtics/Lakers matchup was intense and now since the lakers/Celtics matchup being relevant again...they go with Lebron vs the warriors again.
