Which is funny given that Deyonta Davis landed us the Memphis pick, which if not for this weak and Memphis hot streak should have decent value.

The pick that become Davis netted us the Clippers pick.

The Memphis pick was for Jeff Green.

For a team that needs big man talent Bol Bol looks like a great pick. 2 way player. Can score inside and out, rebound the ball, block shots, phenomenal size and length, good athleticism for a giant. Producing in college. There's a ton to like.

Bol Bol is certainly interesting. Assuming Sac pick is around 10 he might still be on the board....?

Simi Shittu seems worth a shot with one of our lesser picks

Love Simi S. Like Jaxson Hayes with the Sac pick. Ja Morant is he's still there with the Grizz pick. Then Simi later. I'm a happy camper.

https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2018/11/27/18108801/nba-mock-draft-2019-zion-williamson-cleveland-cavaliers-rj-barrett-duke-cam-reddish

SB nation put out a mock this morning and has him 5th. He's 10th on NBA draft.net. Another mock I looked at from the sixersense has him going 7th. That mocks only 2 days old.

A lot of time before the draft but I think 10 is kind of his floor. I dont know a lot about the other prospects but a legit 7 footer with length, athleticism and 2 skill is hard to pass up.

Yeah it all revolves around Jeff Green. The Memphis pick was from us trading Jeff Green to Memphis. The Clippers pick was acquired for the 2 secound rounders, but the Grizzlies had that pick from trading Jeff Green to the Clippers  . That was another brilliant Doc Rivers GM move.

I think people are too worried about having too much capital. 2016 was an awful draft, but Ainge did a good job of kicking the can with those two second rounders (31+35). We still have Yabu, which hasn't been a huge benefit yet. BUT, we shed the 2 2nds for the Clippers pick and flipped our other 1st round selection in the Kyrie deal.

Draft Hachimura if we get a low lottery pick, his progression is very good and has the tools to be a starter in the worst case.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

At this pont I think he is definitely top 10. 2nd pick seems a stretch but if he keeps it up I wouldnt be surprised with top 5. I would be very surprised if he drops to the 2nd round lol.

bundle the picks to get a top 5 chip. unless no one's traded, their won't be enough roster spots. especially if they plug holes with role players. sekou doumbouya's a legit star.

Bol is interesting, but he's like a 3+ year project. Let someone else deal with developing him and hoping he pans out only for him to just sign somewhere else by the time he's strong enough to play in the NBA. Still way too early to tell where even one of these picks will fall, but I like a ton of the wings in this draft. Sac is 13th now, and I think the bottom 6 are set in stone in some order (PHX, CLE, CHI, ATL, NYK, BKN), but after that it's just a matter of which team loses a star and goes tank mode; Sac could end anywhere from 7-12 I feel. But maybe they also trade for Otto Porter and he slides in at PF for them and they get the 7 seed in the West or something insane.

Otto Porter is not the difference for anyone making or not making playoffs in west.

I said he looked more like Toni Kukoc than the best prospect since LeBron. Does that count?

Luka displayed unreal basketball skills in Europe as a 19 year old kid... there was little to no chance the Celtics could have gotten him. I am so envious of Dallas. Luka is going to be very special for a decade.
