Like Capella allot... Adams is only slightly better than Baynes IMO....We might do better bidding for (RFA) WCS services though?... I think he can be signed reasonably...don't see Sacramento matching a decent offer...either Capella or WCS...I want a center that can defend the middle and block shots....and who can rebound and finish....Let the others shoot threes...

As far as the point goes....Why not trade up a might and draft one?.. We don't need three #1s IMO... OK with matching Terry Rozier's potential RFA offers unless they are outrageous....

WCS had a decent year in Sacramento, but he doesn't block shots. His rebounding per game went up this year, but it looks like it was related to the Kings' increased pace - his rebounding percentage was about the same. He has no jump shot to speak of, can only finish at the rim - and only averaged 0.6 blocks a game last year. Not a player to chase. We're off-topic for this thread, anyway

Agree with perhaps stretching the topic...but Bill Russel couldn't shoot a jumper that well either at first...WCS is only 25 and been around the league....and had to cover Boogies defensive tracks when he first come up...has to count for something...No?

His rebounding % did increase, as did his overall contributions across the board. His on/off court plus/minus was the best of his career.

The question with WCS is whether that was a contract year performance, and whether he will keep it up. If he stays motivated, he will continue to improve in various areas. But when he was drafted, there were indications that he was not passionate about the game of basketball. So you have to wonder whether he will remain motivated after he gets his first big pay day.

Lecque is the only guy I have even a sliver of interest in:

God I hope Danny doesn’t **** up this draft too. He needs to hit big on 2/3 of these picks or trade up & hit it big there. There’s been enough stunted growth for the franchise through all of the huge misses in the middle & late first rounders over the years.

Won't impact me, maybe it might, probably not, but should there be a rule here that draft picks should not be ruined by attention-seeking Woj and everyone should wait for the picks to be announced to the fans at the draft?

If you can trade Jaylen Brown for pick 3, you certainly do it.

Pick 4, or later, would really depend on what the entire package was.

They are announcing the picks super early?

Not news that is important, but when Goga went to the Hawks there was video everywhere and when he went to the Pistons there was interview video everywhere and when he went to Boston and San Antonio there was complete silence and media blackout.

The mock drafts need to be reworked, with those extra players sent to the Green Room.

Claxton, K Porter, Kabengele.

Can Brandon Clarke be a center in the nba with his trex arms? College blocks and rebounds usually translates to the nba

If we draft Herro I'm going to need to drink a tall, cool, Budweiser and stare at the sun.

He will be better than R.J. Hunter but not as good as Jeff Hornecek.

He good.

I'm really liking Lecque if they can nab him in the second. Looks a lot like Trevon Duval to me. Probably a total zero, but hyper athletic dude you can stash in the G-league for a couple years and hope he develops.

Lonzo
Garland
Hayward
Tatum
Capella

You then have plenty of cap to fill out the bench. Maybe see if Morris wants to roll back for a decent rate

Perfect 37 win team. Capela and Ball can't even play in the fourth quarter of close games, hope you have some good backups.

He is very athletic but definitely not a center. Too small and no crazy wingspan to make up for his size. I think he is the kind of player Danny likes though.

Another TRex type though, scares me a bit.
Thanks Brad for answering my ad,
"Boston Celtics Barbershop, cutters wanted."
But after KP, your C play? You broke my heart Fredo.
