Going to miss the first half.

I am feeling quite good about this game though.

The battle between two teams who lost to the Knicks.

Ray Spalding is such a great player they even put his name on the basketball.

If there is a point in the game when both teams have four point guards together on the court, turn off the TV. Dallas could put 5 point guards out there.

Luka, top Dallas player for points, and second for rebounds, assists and steals.

Bobby Williams may not be getting the minutes Luka does, but much better than Doncic for PER 27 to 16 and True Shooting % 92% to 57%.

Luka averages 10 more minutes per game, than Williams has total minutes played. Luka has only 1 more block than Williams, although 69 more assists, and 553 more minutes played.

Am told that superstar Powell is out for this game. Dallas paid big to acquire him. Powell and some throw-in player to Dallas and Boston got Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson, Semi Ojeleye , Guerschon Yabusele and Demetrius Jackson.

If Boston win, could be good for the Clippers pick. If Boston loses, good for the Kings pick, and Grizzlies pick.

Dallas with Karl Malone.

Suns beat the Bucks, Knicks beat the Pelicans, and the Cavs beat the Sixers. A second win in a row tonight and we may actually be pretty good again.

No word yet. 8.5 hours til gametime.
I wouldn't mind seeing the other 3 Centers play; Baynes, Theis, and of course, Robert "TimeLord" Williams.

P.S.: Not counting Yabusele.

We had one good quarter against the Hawks. And couldn't even break 25 points in the second or third.

Not particularly infused with the showing last game.

We need a completely different offense/different offensive leader to work around.

Gordon looks a lot better than he did a month ago. If his improvement trajectory continues like this, he'll be the all-star we all expected by April. Will enjoying following this. I think he's been unfairly trashed.

Yes. As I said in another thread, it took Paul George 1.5 yrs to come back fully.
I expect Hayward to be about the same. Not in full form, until April.

Hayward is out due to ankle soreness, and not "rest"

Not the best of signs but we all know he's struggling out there.

That said after a season low 22 minutes last game you'd think he'd be okay to give another 20 this game.

Relax. No need to sow panic or worry.
We did blow out the Hawks. No one played more than 28 mins, i think.

Didn't we have a quote 2 weeks ago that sitting out back to backs is not a thing for Hayward

Again if it was just rest they could call it rest.

Googled it: Ah that's right, it was Stevens who said Hayward will play back to backs.

The Mavs suck. We should still win regardless. Not giving this team an excuse.

Enthused.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

They also said ankle soreness is to be expected and something they would just have to monitor and manage for a while. Fact is, he's not all the way back to being near 100%.

In terms of struggling, people should also differentiate between not playing well and not shooting well. For the most part, he's been doing the former. His current lack of athleticism and explosion hasn't hindered him from making the right plays and taking the right shots. Like everyone else, shots just aren't going in.

On this team and in our current state, he's among the least of my worries.
