appreciate it but the debate is over I couldn't beat him now I slipped and broke my hip and hand on the ice. And my age 40+ doubt I recover well enough to play a basketball game let alone pivot and duck for fighting. So alas I can't beat him.

Damn man sorry to hear that. As another 6’7” guy who has slipped and fallen on the ice I know it’s a long way to go. As another early 40 something who pulled both hammies and a groin at the same time water skiing last year I know how much harder it is to come back.

Thanks. I just should have not tried to break the fall with my hand I knew better but natural instincts took over.

Damn, dude, that sucks. Gotta work on that story and make it sound cooler, though. As a late 40s guy i refuse to believe these are the injuries coming my way... :) Best of luck in recovery!

I think sometimes we forget how young and inexperienced they actually are.
Tatum is making it worse for Brown because he is very mature on the court for his age.

Smart is only two weeks older than Rozier, people absolutely forget how young he is.

The difference is even when Smart was bad he did everything with the team in mind. Smart has always been what’s best for the team.

Not sure you can say the same thing about Rozier and Brown (or as I call him, Head Down Brown)

Tatum is awfully skilled but so was Carmelo (who i still think became a good player btw)

Brown has his ups and downs and has a long to go but so did Leonard at some point.

It’s good not to judge and write players off so early in their careers. I still think brown will become the better player even thought offensively tatum looks so much polished. I could se tatum beign an all star 1-2 years from now and brown being a beast at some point in first non rookie deal

Brown the better player than Tatum? Tatum is literally better at every facet of the game outside of maybe man to man defense, and is a better basketball athlete. I think Jaylen will be a good player who may make an all star team or two, but Tatum will always be multiple tiers above him.

Indeed. That's why I was careful to specify "guard". :)

Smart deserves 1st team or 2nd team all defense.

As one of his biggest detractors last year in terms of FGA, I am very satisfied with how he is playing this year. This thread title makes no sense though , seeing as fans who are NOW happy with him are experiencing a victory as well.

It's not just that he has toned down shooting, his 3 point shot has been decent
