I've played a little bit most summers for the past 10 years or so. It's fun but also incredibly frustrating when you make an unforced error. Awesome workout if you are consistently having long-ish volleys. Way more fun than putting in the headphones and going for a run.

Tedeschi Trucks Band is awesome band. Lots of soul. Susan Tedeschi is a fabulous singer and Derek Trucks kills it on guitar.

Played through HS and college. Not much anymore as I'm old, haha.

They do all pre-Dark side stuff. The band is great too. Guy Pratt, (replaced Waters in Floyd and plays with Gilmour on solo stuff) is on bass and vocals. Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet on guitar and vocals for musicians of note. I can't wait and Mason said the goal was to "capture the spirit of an era."

This looks awesome. Buying tickets now. As I've said in the past, I love most of Floyd's material but I'm one of the weirdos who has Piper as their favorite album. This looks like my dream setlist.

Saw Derek perform with the Allman Brothers, Taj Mahal and Bonnie Raitt years back. Amazing show, dude is incredible.

Nice. I love Pipers. Such a fantastic album. I'll never forget seeing Floyd in '94 and opening with Astronomy Domine. I was like "no **** way".

Yes, play with my wife. She's really good, plays on a team that travels all over the state. Great workout. Man does it piss her off when I'm able to beat her. Especially cause she's eight years younger than me.

I'm more and more obsessed with improving. Starting to look at week-long clinics in various places to work on my game.

Great new sport now that my knees don't really tolerate basketball anymore.

Deep Pumpkins cut. Valentine (H.O.M). All time Pumpkins track.

Classic Ghost.

"...barber shop ****
always wind up **** around
one minute you hot next minute you not
remind me of the New York Knicks with their jump shots..."

Wyclef before he betrayed his own country.

"Will the Knicks win the championship this year?
Say what, say what, anything can happen
Will we find some peace of mind this year?
Say what, say what, anything can happen
You ready for the revolution this year?
Say what, say what, anything can happen
Will you make love with no condom this year?
Spoiler:
No, no, no, no, that won't ever happen

I cant think of too many musicians other than Wyclef where I find the difference between their best and worst to be so extreme. I was never a massive fan, but some of the stuff on the first two Fugees albums is brilliant. I could listen to the track "The Score" on repeat all day (though a lot of that is due to Diamond D's beat).

Yeah this was pretty good. Like a Version is something that a radio station called Triple J here in Oz does every Friday, artists come in and play one of their own tracks and then a cover. Can be a bit hit and miss depending on the artist and the track selection, but there are some beauties in there. I think I might have posted a few examples earlier in this thread somewhere.

Looks like the premise/gags are pretty much the same as the original movie (which I highly recommend if you havent seen it, a fantastic Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement movie), but still looks like it will be pretty good.

Will probably watch this because the original movie is amazing. Agreed that it looks like re run gags, but probably still funny.

Second your recommendation to watch the movie - a classic.

Agreed. If you haven't seen it, I highly, highly, highly recommend Hunt for the Wilderpeople too. Another Taika Waititi movie, absolutely brilliant and is close to one of my favourite movies of all time.

I really enjoyed "What we do in the shadows" (the movie)... Original premise, well acted and directed, and really funny.

On the other hand, I thought that "Hunt for the wilderpeople" was just an OK movie that I will likely forget about in a matter of weeks.

Any Dream Theater fans out there? They've been one of my favourite bands since I dubbed a copy of Images and Words off my brother in about 1993. Last several albums have been a little up and down for me, I think I only listened to The Astonishing once or twice after I bought it.

Their new album dropped a few days ago. Generally a return to their heavier sound which is nice, only had a chance to listen to the whole thing once so far but there is some good stuff in there.

Been binge watching Game of Thrones since my girl has never really watched it. It is amazing how much stuff you catch that you missed the first time around. It only dawned on me that Oberyn is Agent Pena on Narcos. Lol

So tempted to hop on /r/freefolk though.

I am contemplating binge watching Seasons 1-7 before the final season airs. I have only seen Season 1 previously and struggled to get into it at the time. Having read all the books beforehand it didn't really sit well with what my minds eye had created from reading the books. I also wanted to read Winds of Winter without book spoilers, but who knows if that book will ever come out.

I'm currently reading Boiled Leather (AFfC and ADwD combined) and recently finished a 1-7 rewatch. Gods, the early seasons were so good. Starts to get mediocre and sometimes outright bad around season 5, ie. when book material was no longer available.
