Only in episode 6, but Snowfall's latest season rocks. Also watched Layer Cake (pre-Bond Daniel Craig and pre-Bane Tom Hardy) and re-watched Fight Club (still holds up after 6th or 7th time?). All good ****.

I've probably watched Fight Club more than 50 times. Not an exaggeration. And yes, it still feels fresh and exciting every single time

'The Batman' was terrible. Only Batman and Robin is a worse Batman movie imho. Snooze fest. Way too woke. Bad action, CGI and too generous green screen usage. I seriously don't 'understand how anyone can like this. I think it's the triggered Snyder haters galvanizing around this movie to stick it to him because objectively it's bad in almost every single way. There are some aspects that work but so few and far between. The big finale is one of the worst ever in a cbm. It's just so derivative and tries too hard as well. But if you want to see a Batman movie with no Bruce Wayne and long gratuitous shots of a brooding Pattinson, cringe overacting, a 90 lb woman beating up grown men, and "white man bad" messaging then this will be the movie for you!

I'm digging 'Outer Range' so far. Strong casting/acting. 'Winning Time' is great too. Perfect casting and captures the feel of late 70s/early 80s.

'Stranger Things' Season 4 trailer was bonkers. Love this show and can't wait. Tonight the final season of 'Better Call Saul' begins!! Vince Gilligan is a genius. Making two of the best TV shows over a decade, trying things together, is brilliance. After this I'd love to see what he can do with a major motion picture. Maybe rescue Star Wars?

Final season of Ozark was really good on the whole but I'm still trying to decide what I think about the ending.

The great Judy Henske just passed. Check out Farewell Aldeberon, the album she make with Jerry Yester for Zappa’s label.

I hate the Sixers. I'm just watching this for Celtics legend Juancho Hernangomez.

Vangelis passed away :(
Really sad day for music.
He was one of my favourites soundtrack composers along with Zimmer. RIP.
Messi. Jordan. Ali. Bolt. Senna. Serena. Karelin. Phelps. Rossi. Suleymanoglou. The GOATs.

Yep, Batman kinda sucked. The emo look was so cringe i nearly had a brain freeze lmao. Some good moments but overall it missed the mark for me.

This is truly one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever listend to, but in Chen's voice it became even more amazing. Shivers all over my body and soul.

I've been enjoying The Man Who Fell to Earth on Showtime and Gaslit on Starz is anyone wants to check them out. Slow Horses on Apple is good too.

And I got into the final season of Better Call Saul last night to get my mind off the game. Man that show is good.

Also excited for the new season of Stranger Things. Part 1 of the season comes out on the 27th.

Two noteworthy deaths today: Andy Fletcher (Depeche Mode) and Ray Liotta (Goodfellas, etc., and a meme that shows up on this forum every couple of months).
