I just learned that Mira Furlan, the Croatian actress who played Delenn--one of my favorite sci fi characters-- on Babylon 5, died at age 65 of complications from the West Nile virus. Very sad.

Babylon 5 was such a great show despite the low budget effects. So many of those actors died relatively young.

I was just listening to this album and College Dropout this weekend and man, it's amazing. Early Kanye was bringin that heat!! That absolute FIRE, I swear he was. And then he shaded Taylor Swift at the VMAs. And then he married a Kardashian. And then he went crazy. And...I don't know what happened.

MB, yu know it's so interesting that you play this version of one of my favorite songs. I think I've heard this version maybe one other time. The version I'm more familiar with that maybe some others are as well is the abridged version he performed on The Dave Chappelle Show where Dave introduced them as "Two of Chicago's finest MC's". This almost sounds like a completely different song. Good no less, but the harmonies and breaks I'm used to aren't there in this one.

Oh yea man.... the Chappelle version came out months ahead of this version. I also prefer that one but this is pretty good too. Back in that era “be” the common album was delayed several times due to Kanye being the producer and being a perfectionist and also busy.
I remember hearing that song and back then not knowing whether it would be on Kanye’s album or commons album but I loved it and needed more of it

Was never a Bad Boy fan, I was probably too much of a backpacker to be able to get past Puffy's stink. But Black Rob brought some serious heat on one of my favourite tracks - Nuthin' But by Cru.
