Game of Thrones meets the Olympics. A few of these made me laugh, the Littlefinger one in particular.

I tried so hard to find the normal song. I guess it doesn't exist on YouTube anymore. A bit lame that the video has two big patches of silence that mess up the strange/unique progression of the song. The silence that begins at 4:20 is particularly annoying, lol.

edit: found it. Much better.

But, yeah, she's a great folk musician in general. You would probably dig her other stuff.

I seem to remember a video for that song where she was dressed like this (aka one totally sexy baddass).

Indeed she is. I vaguely remember that video as well.

This just came up on my playlist, I thought of you:

I don't go back to that album enough. Evergreen/That Girl Suicide/She's Gone in addition to the above. So many bangers.

I put off seeing The Sisters Brothers for a long time because I doubted that it could live up to the quirky awesomeness of the book. Even with what should have been a great cast for that it sadly did not. Great book. Movie not so much. I’ve really enjoyed all of Patrick Dewitt’s books. Quickly became one of my favorite writers a couple years ago.
Hey Man, nice shot!

Off to see Endgame today......but man, **** this new breed of scumbag who just has to go out of their way to spoil movies. I had to mute all the key words on Twitter, but I still see people posting spoilers by posting it in pictures. Smh

I've had superhero movie fatigue for some time and havent bothered with a lot of them that have come out in recent years. I did enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy and Infinity War, so I actually went to see End Game when my kids wanted to go see it. I thought it was pretty good, a satisfactory ending to a pretty big story to try and knit together. I thought the plot devices they used worked well too.

Spoiler:
I thought they got the time travel component right, not too simplistic, not too overly complicated or too ridiculous.

Also

Spoiler:
The Big Lebowski joke actually made me laugh out loud.

Just got back. Oh wow. Loved it! Crowd was lit. Lots of cheers during certain scenes. Such a great way to reward the fans who have been watching all of the films from the past 11 years.

When Cap picked up Mjolnir I stood up and started yelling and clapping and the whole crowd followed. Probably accidentally blocked the dude behind me for several minutes. Philly movie crowds in general are pretty solid.

I agree. Satisfactory but it wasn’t as satisfying as Infinity wars. No spoilers here....just saying that where Infinity Wars maximized the ensemble cast, this one didn’t do it as well for me.

End game was dope....last hour was great and just a nice bow tie on everything and way to tie things together.

Also this week I watched “the staircase” a documentary on Netflix about an author accused of murdering his wife. Been out since last year but I thought it was good. Nice behind the scenes involvement and loook at the criminal justice system it’s flaw and how things work.
