Love is an extremely underrated band. This song is dope, and timely.

Almost 40 years in, and this still sounds cutting edge. This was before Depeche Mode bought their first synthesizer.

32 years after its release, "Fade to Grey" was part of the soundtrack of "Laurence Anyways," excellent movie by Xavier Dolan.

EDIT:
Holy crap, "Laurence Anyways" is on YouTube! If you are into arthouse movies, I highly recommend it.

Watching “explained ; pandemic “ on Netflix. 1st episode done. Very very relevant and unfortunately scary right now but informative.

Shoot, forgot about that one. Great timing for them, at least.

Here's a song.

Just watched "Operation Finale" on Amazon. Solid film about the Israeli operatives capture of Adolf Eichmann. Then began binge watching "Hunters" about Nazi hunters in the 70s. Not too bad.

For the gamers:

I just finished Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order - pretty short game, but you can extend it if you're running around and trying to collect everything in the game. Great storyline - takes place between episodes 3 and 4.

Nioh - top 5 game for me on PS4. Think Bloodborne meets Diablo. Hack and slash game with tons of loot. It is difficult, so it will definitely test your skills. My only recommendation is to power up your magic so you can unlock the Sloth spell. The sequel just came out, and I might buy it depending on how long this lockdown lasts.

Call of Duty Warzone - pretty much COD Battle Royale. 150 players, in squads of 3. The game is free to download.

NBA 2K20 - I'm bored without basketball, so I might resort to just running simulations and treating those as the games. If we get really bored, maybe I'll set up a stream on twitch and sim Bulls vs Celtics today. Perhaps we can set up a Gamethread. Lol

I'll be on later tonight. Username is MixWagger on PSN.

2 playlists I've really been digging lately:

Lo-Fi Beats - real chill, downtempo. I think all the tracks are instrumental. Nice as background music or when you want something without a lot of energy.

Jazztronica - Similar to lo fi beat but just a little more energy. Some solo's over beats and some songs have lyrics. Still chill, relaxing vibes

A song from the jazztronica playlist

Anyone have Masterclass? My wife got it as a gift, but I've been using it more. I'm a musician (amateur, gigging level - pre corona at least), but dig the music production side too. The ones from Timbaland, deadmau5 and Armin van Buuren were super interesting to me even though I'm not a huge EDM or beats guy. Just cool to watch them in the studio, and building, arranging, honing the tunes. The stuff they do there sounds awesome. They all get so jazzed and excited doing it too.

My wife was bored, after like 12 seconds, so it's probably only for the super music-nerdy. :)

EDIT: Forgot Tom Morello one is pretty cool too. I just know guitar stuff way more, where I'm new at the music production, so it was more nodding along than truly learning stuff for me.

Oh hell yeah thanks for this; I've really only listened to Forever Changes which is like top-10 underrated albums all time. One of those albums I'll put on and think why did I go so long without listening to this?

In this trying time I love listening to some sad ****, this is one of my fav albums:

If you like early-90's college rock, this is a nice resource for your quarantine: https://indie88.com/incredible-concert-films-from-the-1990s/

I watched Nirvana's show last night. So good.

Enjoying my 2nd Marc Maron Netflix special. I think I'm watching nothing but stand-up comedy specials until the pandemic ends. Hoping I don't run out.

I saw Arthur Lee and "Love" open for the Zombies a decade or so ago at the State Theater in Falls Church, VA. both bands absolutely sensational.

Not Art, but 'cause I just couldn't take The Seventh Seal right now, even if Max von just passed, I noticed that Amazon Prime is featuring a lot of the Ralph Bashki animations. I remember some of his stuff being sort of offensive, but maybe the makings of a good bad-movie night, to distract from the Shelter in Place blues.
