So from what Danny's saying about being in no rush and not wanting a guy who is going to be expecting substantial minutes, it sounds like he doesn't have any interest in Kanter--at least unless Enes ratchets down his expectations.

Since the buyout candidate is mainly going to be used as trade-filler, maybe we should ask the Pels who they'd like us to sign - or maybe Danny already has

Hell prior to joining RealGM I can remember being active on alt.sports.basketball.nba.boston-celtics - that's some old bastard stuff!

No kidding. I was even on that old Yahoo site with Egg, DavidP, etc, etc. Wait, was that an AOL site? I can't even remember, it's been so long. It was before 2000.

Even a rarely used big can be useful situationally. I remember that even Monroe helped us win a playoff game last year. Can't remember who it was against. Maybe it was against Philly where we got down big and came back. Remember the call, though "The Moose is on the loose." I think maybe it was in that huge second quarter comeback at home against Philly, but who knows. A guy like Kanter could definitely be useful situationally.

Yeah, here it is. Oh, this game was so great. In fact, last year was great. One of my favorite teams in all the years I've been watching the Celtics. This year, not so much.

Reports are Gortat wants to go to GS. Another reason to get a big body. Toronto added Gasol and Golden State may have Cousins and Gortat to contest with. Al can't stay on those guys all the time, and Baynes can't play heavy minutes either. Theis is too lightweight to handle strong bigs like that, too.

I kind of wanted the dude. Oh well. Hope Baynes is ready to finish strong after the break.

It's 2019 and people still aren't using adblocking plugins?
