The effort during this game will tell if the team has completely checked out or not.

Nor sure what to think about this game. We are playing bad, on a b2b, but thankfully at home.

Just hope we don't see Kanter get 20 boards against our weak rebounding. Also get to see this Jake Layman. No Turner though.

More excited to listen to the comments after the game. They are generally more entertaining.

This is a must win for confidence. The Blazers smacked the Celtics last time and will probably do the same again completing the season sweep. Rozier getting 20+ minutes again will bother me more than anything.

I dunno what to expect. I think it's a loss, could be a win, too, but probably another lackluster and an L.

Terry shouldn't play more than 15 mins, Brad is a stats guy, we're getting bashed when he's on the court with the 2nd unit, that's a stat that can't be denied. Also Morris shouldn't start at all, his Cinderella season came to an end more than a month ago. Start Brown or Hayward instead of him, at least both have a lot more to offer talent-wise.

Oh and for **** sakes, get Tatum and Irving 16-17 shots a piece. It's embarrassing that Morris takes more than Tatum every other game.

I can't believe that a 40-win season is still in play! Kudos to our team for showing a lot of heart and grit despite the obvious lack of talent.

Just 3 more wins, guys and we'd match Brad's second season as Cs coach!

Morris is definitely coming back down to earth, but he still has a .595 TS% on the year to Tatum's .558. More to the question would be Terry at #6 in FGA/36 while dead last in TS% at .494 -- and Brown at #3 in FGA/36 while being 3rd from last in TS% at .534. (And Brown in for Mook would be a poor change in starters IMO.)

Okay, maybe, just maybe all the "Ask me July 1st" sound bites and Davis trade talks have rocked our locker room a bit, which was already shaky to begin with. Danny, care to comment?

I think that the team plays more like a Team when Kyrie is out, Everybody pitches in.
When Kyrie plays, they rely on him to be the Superstar.

I'm honestly floored we have a 37-24 record. It feels like we lose more than half our games. I love Brad but if we trot out the same bull after getting smack like we did and losing 4 of 6, I might tune out.

Raptors have the same issue. Forget last night's game for a second. Raptors are 13-4 without Kawhi.
He's iso heavy player and he doesn't create for others. The difference is that he hasn't created any drama regarding his FA(although undecided) and his teammates respect that. And it's possible to resign with them regardless of the season's outcome, only for this reason. They respect him and he's not an attention *****. The respect seems mutual. Raptors appear like a team with no locker issues.
Bucks have FIVE free agents at summer(everybody except giannis). Nobody talks about that. No questions, no statements, no drama.

To be fair to Kawhi, he has a higher True Shooting Percentage and PER than Irving and his superstar skill is supposed to be on the defensive end not the offensive end.

But this is valid. Kawhi doesn't playmake as much as you'd like from a best player in the NBA level. I think he still hasn't reached 100% claw level he was a few seasons ago where 1 on 1 he bested playoff LeBron. Is Kawhi just 26 now and knows to save it for the playoffs? Maybe, but we'll see. His stats looks pretty similar to the last healthy Kawhi season but he has to have a higher gear than what he's showing or maybe he did lose something in those legs. I wouldn't bet on it though, we'll find out when he faces a playoff Giannas one on one.
