Boogie tears his ACL. Lakers fans saying he was a major signing so, i guess that sucks for them. I actually thought they would be worse with him on the court than off.

I will admit I was disappointed the Lakers did not sign him to a max multi-year deal. This makes me even more disappointed. Really bites that injuries have been building up on him like that. This was supposed to be his prime and his chance to get one last big contract.

While I think I agree with you, the problem (for them) is that whoever they replace him with is likely to be worse.
Sucks for Cousins, I know he's not the most beloved guy out there, but he's had a rough run of it lately. Also, this;

Torn achilles, torn quad, torn ACL....all that after he turned down a two-year, $40 million deal from the Pelicans and he didn't get a ring with the Warriors.
Time for the Lakers to sign Dwight...

Am I supposed to feel bad for the Lakers? How long until LeBron leaves LA and AD for the knicks/nets?

Lebron will retire in L.A. He is there for the money/buisness now.
I just want AD to leave next summer and let LeClown all alone !

The Boogie thing is why I never understood why players turned down team USA this summer for injury concerns— guys are playing competitive 5-on-5 all summer and fluke injuries are by no means limited to team USA practices. Getting experience against other great players playing competitive basketball is always a great thing.
I feel bad for Boogie— sucks to see a guys body continuously break down like this, especially after he really seemed to start taking better care of himself physically the last two years. Bummed out for him.

I don't think too many use potential injury as an excuse to pull out. Most of the ones from this go round have been 'wanting to focus on the upcoming NBA season', ie. continuing to train with my own people, not being put through team building drills/practices with coaches that you aren't going to play for again etc.

At this point I just feel sympathy for Cousins. Yes, there are many people in the world who suffer more and aren't rich ... but in the universe of NBA players, he's now a sympathetic figure to me.

Cousins you of course should feel sorry for. But the Lakers? Hell no. To quote Don Henley:
Kick 'em when they're up
Kick 'em when they're down
Kick 'em when they're stiff
Kick 'em all around

Lakers will be much better without him, not so much because of his own limitations but because AD is so good as a 5.

Meh, I heard Paul George’s injury invoked more than its fair share

Am I the only one who doesn't feel sorry for Cousins? Not saying I'm happy he got hurt but I'm sure as hell not wasting any tears for one off the biggest **** in the league.

Losing cousins is a huge blow to the team but the Lakers will be okay. Still think they'll make it to the finals.

They will not.
