Distracting myself about the Cobra :banghead:

- but I think we need this thread (and perhaps use the usual non-Celtics thread for the 14 teams NOT in the POs [which happily includes the pathetic LeBron Fakers -

]).

EC is set

Us v Pacers

Pistons v Bucks
Magic v Craps
Nets v Sixers (Embiid may not play this w/e presumably cause of his back [& because Jimmy has a previous commitment to interview with Jerry West & Doc Rivers - LOL]).

WC is still in flux for the 2 - 3 - 4 regarding the Nuggets, Rockets & Blazers - because Nuggets & Blazers are just starting their final games.
1 Warriors; 5 Jazz; 6 Thunder 7 Spurs 8 Clippers

Please share your thoughts regarding potential upsets etc.

I can't sleep either Ex after that Marcus news.

Sixers in 5

The Raptors vs Magic can be a major upset.
Magic are 22-9 post all star.
Vucevic is better than their bigs, Isaac is great defender(and shoots it pretty good) and Terrence Ross might be the 6th man of the playoffs(killed the hornets tonight). If they can get a consistent Gordon i say that the Magic have their chances.
Leonard isn't DeRozan though.
Milwaukee-Detroit is going to be a slaughterhouse for the Pistons and Philly will take the Nets in 5. Max 6.

The loss to Portland in Game 81 on a Harless buzzer beater means the Rockets must play the Dubs in Round 2 (if they beat the Jazz).

West looking pretty lit. Outside of the Clips I can see pretty much anybody winning their series..or at least going 7.

Warriors x Rockets
Thunder x Nugs

That would have to be the best 2nd round we have seen in the NBA in years.

I feel like the Pistons could go in 4, but 5 is fair as some have stated.
Imo, Magic will get a game out of Toronto if they play hard.
Sixers will beat the Nets in 5 or 6 barring a huge letdown. I just don't see a guy to stop Embiid. If the Nets stop Embiid this could be a series.
And if we play to our potential I got us in 5 or 6 vs Indiana.

As for the West, Warriors in 4.. Clipps could get 1 but that would be it, imo..
Nuggets in 5 or 6 max.
Blazers and OKC is a tough one, tbh. I see the OKC as the better team, but underperforming. I could see OKC beating the Blazers in 6. Could go either way tho..
And then I got the Rockets in 5, max 6 over Utah.

Raptors over Philly in 7. This will be a great series that will come down to a game 7 in Canada. I am going with Raptors at home in Game 7.

Raptors/Celtics East Finals. touch match-up for Boston. I think this series goes 7 games. I have to go with Kyrie being the hero in game 7 and getting the Celtics to the finals against all-odds.

West:

Warriors over Clippers in 4. Clippers fought hard to get here but the Warriors will be ready. MAYBE this is a 4-1 series win where LA wins 1 at home, but I doubt it.

Spurs over Denver in 6. Upset of the West. I'm going with SA's experience over Denver's great regular season.

OKC over Portland in 6. Without Nurik in the middle Portland will bust in the playoffs again. Westbrook/George will out duel Dame

Houston over Jazz in 6. Jazz will fight hard, but Houston is going to be ready to rock after getting so close to the finals last season.

Warriors over Rockets in 7. Repeat of last season.

OKC over Spurs in 7. fight to the finish. historic series for Westbrook gets them to the West Finals.

Warriors over OKC in 5. OKC runs out of gas from their series with Spurs.

Finals: Warriors over Celtics in 6. Warriors Celebrate in Boston. Boston acquires AD and it will be a repeat of the finals next year with Boston winning.

I moved ddb’s predictions here.

Bucks vs Pistons - Bucks in 4. Blake is hurt (surprise!), and I don't see anyone on that Pistons team being able to guard Antetekounmpo. Should be easy enough.

Raptors vs. Magic - 2-2 during the regular season and Orlando has been rolling. I think this might go 6, but I see the Raptors winning in 5.

Sixers vs Nets - well, if Embiid is hurt/tired, this could get interesting. J/k. I got the Sixers in 5.

Warriors vs. Clippers - I got the Ws sweeping.
Rockets vs. Jazz - Rockets in 7. Utah's a tough place to win at, and Harden's got Gobert to contend with if he decides to drive.
Nuggets vs. Spurs - I have the Spurs winning this one. Pop will figure out a way to stifle Jokic, IMO.
Portland vs. OKC - wow. I have no idea how this one is going to go. I think if the Blazers had Nurkic, they should have been able to pull this one out. However, Lillard/McCollum vs Westbrook/George/Schroeder/........I think OKC should win in 6 games.

Orlando #1 defense in NBA, since all-star break, beating teams like Bucks, Warriors, Raptors, etc. With players like Gordon, Vucevic in the front court doing damage, Fournier playing like prime Paul Pierce.
