Team! Morris was hot in the 1st. Kyrie brought energy and led the comeback in the 3rd. Jaylen played good D on Bogey. Hayward looked good. Rozier didn't kill us. Nice start. Stay focused and end this series in 4 or 5 like we should.

But yeah this is sort of more the correct answer.

Great team performance.

Hayward didn't have a great game, but I loved how aggressive he was. He's gonna win us a game in this series, I can feel it :D

True, I feel like him and Horfie will have better games next game. Same for Kyrie who shot the ball 17 times for 20 pts...
Good assessment:

Ugly ugly ugly ugly W.
But every win in the POs is huge.
So 1 down 15 to go.

Bad News:
First half was literally unwatchable.
17 TOs are unspeakable - 12 of them by our freaking starters.
Our shooting was horrible all game by everyone.

Good News:
A combination of total/utter Pacer ineptitude & VERY aggressive D led to a slaughterhouse in Q3.
JB was inept offensively - but great D on Bogey.
Kyrie was everywhere in Q3 on O & D, & led the charge.
Tito very strong D in Q3 & rebounded very well.
JT with some important makes.
Note: Without Mook in the first half, they would have blown us off the court in our house.

We gotta clean this **** going forward.
Stop the **** dumb TOs.
Continue non stop aggressive D!
Hopefully, shoot much better.

Cs up!

PS Looking forward to watching Dame VS Russ now.

There's no way all 3 of them have a game like that again at the same time

I actually thought he played pretty well.

And I'll take it a step further: he is going to win us a series. Not this one, because we won't need him to, but I think he'll end up being the difference against either Milwaukee or Toronto.

Can't believe I'm picking Morris, but his scoring in the 1st half was timely, even though his shooting eventually dipped under 50% as we all knew it would

For anyone who might be concerned about the offense: keep in mind that this is the playoffs. You don't see those 120-115 types of games NEARLY as much as you do in the regular season. Defenses get ratcheted up and there are more tired legs at the ends of games as rotations get shorter.

THIS is Celtics playoff basketball, and it reminded me a lot of the types of wins we used to get during the KG years.

Always good to get a playoff win. Mook was huge and they may have been down by 20 in the first half if not for him. Still this was an ugly game. Team was awful in the first half and were lucky the pacers played the worst third quarter of basketball I have ever seen. 84 points in a playoff game is not going to get it done against most teams. Hoping for a better performance Wednesday.

Nice to win the first one, but definitely need to play a lot better in the future.

Morris gets it. I never say that but honorable mention goes to Jaylen. Sure he only scored 2 points but scoring isn't his job in this series. Brad told him to worry about defense first and he absolutely locked up Bogdanovic, their best scorer, especially in the 2nd half allowing us to get back into and then takeover this game. He's not gonna get a ton of pub and the shove may steal some of his shine but he was absolutely fantastic.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

I voted Horf, I thought he was our most consistent all around contributor. Mook came out on fire but he hit his first three or four shots and somehow still ended up 5-12 from the field without making key contributions elsewhere.

Encouraging win; not a single Celtic played particularly well offensively, and yet we won easily.

It was another very good all around game for Gordon.

He has missed some shots that he makes usually, but it was the same for the whole team. I love the way he is playing right now.
