This was Kyrie & Tatum's night obviously. Hayward & Brown weren't that bad either.

They’re gonna have to be more of a factor in the next round should they advance. Need more scoring.

Look at the amount of shots taken in this defense oriented game. They did pretty well, both only at 27 mins.

Yea, but Kyrie is -2 so let's not act like +/- of a single game means anything

It's a noisy stat, but it is about how a team plays overall with a player on the court.

I get the idea behind +/-, but like you said, there are at least 9 other factors on the court. It's assumption by correlation, which I don't get why anyone who has a understanding of statistics would hold +/- reputable in any way

And let's not overlook Jaylen's nice pass to get Tatum that corner 3 earlier.

Jaylen and Hayward have to give us more.

Kind of hard to give the team more when you are being frozen out by your teammates and you spend so much of your time playing with a chucker like Morris.

Well for a normal distribution it is assumed to at least have a higher sample size.

So yes 1 game isn't high enough. It is something to note though, conclusions maybe not but it is something to note about team synergy.

It’s a small part of the story in a single game but it is a pretty useful stat with a large sample size IMO. There are plenty of other variables of course.

There are actually people I debated on here who thought kyrie would struggle in playoffs being the number 1 bc its his first playoffs without Bron

Don't forget Ray. He was the clutchest on the Celtics when he was there.
