Ok.
Win this & the series is basically done.
In G1, we played poorly as a team for 2 quarters & in G2, for 3 quarters.
That is not gonna cut it vs a pesky, gritty team in front of their rabid fans fighting not to be kicked out of the POs.
Play like we did 2 weeks ago when we **** demolished them in Indiana to secure HCA.

Focus.
Defensive ferocity like we brought in Q3 G1 & Q4 G2!
No stupid TOs.
If Terry limits his O & brings his D, rebounding & energy, use him to get Ky off the ball for significant periods of time.
Use GH much more.
Encourage max aggressiveness from JT.
Tito is our indispensable hub!
JB must continue to share Bojan’s jock strap (gross but necessary).
Pull Mook quickly if he is selfishly & stupidly **** us up like he did in G2 - if he is G1 Mook, he is an invaluable spark.

Oorah.
Finish the mother **** off!

Most unexpected stat so far:
Celtics lead all playoff teams with 55 rebounds through 2 games.

If we keep doing this and being super active on D we'll be alright. Let's go for the sweep and rest up for the bucks.

One game at a time but I'm loving the ability to go on 8 minutes of suffocating defense at a time, its beautiful to watch. Let's get the 3rd on Friday and call it a series, bucks are sweeping detroit easily. So maybe go easy on baynes and utilize williams a bit more, thies playing Pf is also important.

Be interesting how Indiana come out, they look mentally beat after blowing their lead last game.

Just need to limit Bogdanovic. If we had Smart to guard him it would be a sweep. They are a tough gritty team but lack offensive weapons.

The Pacers are the exact type of team I was afraid to play. Boston tends to play down to teams like Indiana, so being up 2-0 with two hard-fought wins makes me really happy. Call me crazy but I'm really confident about the squad moving forward.

Let's win tomorrow and keep pushing.

So far they have played only 1 good quarter each game. Is 2 quarters this time too much to ask?

We got this. The team has been playing well but Indiana isn't the Pistons and we can't expect them to just roll over and die. This is basically the equivalent of a second round series.

They played two good quarters last night. Second quarter was fine.

Stop with dumb unforced turnovers. When the shot clock is under 5, run them off the 3 instead of staying down and letting them rise up and hit those stupid long 3's with 0 on the shot clock. I screamed at the tv like 6 times as i see it go under 5 and the guy has the ball beyond the 3 acting like he might drive. News flash, he's not going to drive. He's going to shoot the 3. If he drives, he has less than 5 seconds to get around the defense and find an open man who can then shoot. Much lower chance of working.

Win this one and they'll fold in game 4. Need to keep pace with the Bucks and get all the rest we can before round 2.

Seriously. The amount of times I've yelled "BALL FAKE!" at my TV is alarming.

While I know it's not on purpose, I feel like the NBA kind of screwed us on the timing of this game.

Going from Boston to Indy in the playoffs and only one day off? With it being the first round there's a ton of games and we can't just get two days off for a traveling game in the series?

That said I'm mainly selfishly thinking that Horford could use all the time he can get to recover more from the flu. He turned it on in the last 2 minutes but I agree with the broadcast that said it looks like he didn't have playoff level energy for roughly 90% of the game.

I'm not nearly as confident as most of you about this team ... if Oladipo were avail we'd be down 0-2 !! Almost down 0-2 w/o Oladipo ...

Indiana was a tougher series for Cleveland than Boston last year. We should be better with Kyrie and Hayward but this team is nowhere near its peak whereas last year’s team reached theirs. The team is evolving towards its best self but the real question is whether they arrive in time for the Bucks.
