I know the Nets and Celtics don’t need to do each other any favors, but... DAR for Kyrie would be great - and even if we can’t do a sign and trade, if Horford takes 15 million a year, we could renounce Rozier and Morris, dump Yabu’s money, and max Russell outright..

Russell/Smart
Jaylen/Smart
Hayward/Ojeleye
Tatum/FA-or-rookie
Horford/Baynes/Williams

I think D-Lo would be a great Brad Stevens point guard.

The issue is that getting him with cap space and following up with a Smart/Tatum/Baynes or Smart/Jaylen/Baynes for Davis deal would leave us 7 deep, plus rookies and vet minimum signings..

Would be so nice karmically to be better after the swap.
That said, gimme Din and Harris instead and let them max KD or something...

D-Lo comes with more risk, but if he can improve on defense he could be better than Kyrie in three years - I think the Nets are starf****** and making a mistake ..

More cap space to sign another max guy. And Kyrie doesn't get any more money.

Players and salary for future trades rather than nothing. Dinwiddie would be a great backup PG. Harris is a good shooter. Both are on mid-range contracts we are lacking.

3 unprotected future first and the right to swap in the years inbetween them.

Otherwise let them burn their cap so they cant get a second star

D-Slow? No way he’s better in 3 yrs. He plays no defense, ain’t that good of a playmaker and has an attitude as well. He’s basically kyrie lite, with a step slower and poorer handles. Get me harris and dinwiddie

It wouldnt be the worst thing in the world if boston just developed their roster the old fashioned way. And just kept drafting.

Irving learned being under lebron wasnt so bad. He seems to get hurt a lot and hasnt led any team anywhere on his own. AD hasnt won in the west and gets hurt a lot.

Maybe hanging on to the two young wings you got plus seeing if hayward gets all the way back is ok.

You got rozier and smart to step right in. And instead of maxing horford until he gets his aarp card maybe you swoop in on a young talent like zubac on the first night of free agency.

That gives the celtics a large window in a watered down conference.

Irving and ad could both be on the sidelines together next year with injuries.

Not a fan of D'Lo. I'd rather just have Rubio, give the scoring reins to Tatum and Brown so we will see whether or not if both can be cornerstones.

I would be happy with D-Lo,Tatum,Brown next season. Horford and Hayward too I guess. Not really a contender, but not really a drop off from this season at least.

It’s a decent Plan B once Kyrie leaves and AD goes LA.

The S&T is unlikely to happen though unfortunately.

WOJ Bomb: Celtics have given a promise to the knife-wielding alligator at 22. Very impressed with its toughness...

If DAR is a UFA because BK signs Kyrie then I'd trade Hayward and give him the max. I don't think Ainge will attach picks to get off Hayward's deal to do that but I would.

DAR has his flaws but still only 23 and was really coming on last year, in Stevens offense with Tatum/Brown/Horford I think he could really come into his own and it is basically the Celts last chance to have max $ before Brown has to get paid and then Tatum the year after.

Short of re-signing Kyrie and dealing for AD, I think this would be the best result of the Celts offseason.

Heres my outside the box idea... JB, Hayward, and Memphis pick for Wiggins and Towns.

Minnesota uses Towns to get out of Wiggins terrible deal and the memphis pick for a shot to replace him. JB replaces Wiggins right away and is still cheap for now.

Celtics get out of Haywards deal, get a stud big, and rebalance the roster. Maybe Kyrie even comes back to play with Towns.

Kyrie, wiggins, tatum, Horford, KAT.
Smart off the bench (or Wiggins as worlds most expensive 6th man) Sign another wing with MLE.

Im not a wiggins fan, but swapping him and hayward is worth it to get KAT.

Sorry but no way in hell is Minn dealing Towns just to get off Wiggins contract for another bad contract.

And JB has to be paid in a year, and the Memph pick isn't quite that much of an asset. Who knows where it'll land...Remember Sacto?

Just not close to a feasible deal.....Towns is a top tier asset between his age and his max isn't even that much per year.

Does anyone have an idea how much money is Morris going to command?
