Overreaction much?

Nope. I think he’s the best player and the jewel of this free agency class.

If i am him i would take it. I mean the Knicks really? I don’t know if it’s bs. Something is just weird here. Irving just looks like a loser signing with a team like the nets all by himself. Also isn’t Russell their point guard?

I completely get the sense in hindsight that when Kyrie signed with us, he was looking forward to be the beloved face of a franchise. IMO he wants his own team and if that changes he's gonna settle for some Hollywood celebrity as Bron's likeable sidekick. And obviously, if he signs in NY/BRK, part of the equation is that's where he grew up.

Regardless, KD might be a little soft but he's not a loser. Do people really think he was saying to himself "man I can't stand Steph and Dray, I can't wait to team up with someone else and play for James Dolan and the NY Knicks!" Maybe he had some fleeting thoughts here and there but inevitably he was going to sit down at the end of the season, realize that the grass isn't always greener, and think to himself "what in the living ****ing hell was I thinking?"

IMO the Knicks rumors likely came from the Knicks org, in an attempt to momentarily convince their fans that they were relevant again.

Not at all. Finals MVP for 3 teams with the Clips next year.

Not if Semi Ojeleye has something to say about it.

Great job by Toronto; probably don’t beat them with a healthy Durant, but that doesn’t negate a very well played season. They definitely deserve to be proud.

Semi a deal-breaker man. They can take Tatum and Brown, not Semi and Yabu.

Never apologize for winning. It’s too difficult to do in the NBA.

You're right, of course. I got caught up in the moment.

Wow. Klay tore his ACL. Warriors are **** for next year. Talk about being kicked when you're down.

Jeez, that's horrible. If KD opts in and takes up salary and Klay out himself for 6-9 months or whatever, Dubs could slip HARD. As in, not make the playoffs. I love Steph, but he can't do it all alone (on offense).

I wouldn't be shocked to see Lakers throw a max at Klay and him take it. Beat our Tatum-less package for AD, sign some vets, rehab Klay and make noise in the playoffs.

Also, dude was supposedly jumping and running in the locker room to try to get back in. On a torn ACL.

Jesus I totally forgot that he's a free agent too. I bet Myers still offers the max though and he takes it.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Toronto saying thanks... Boston will always be regarded as a city of Champions.... winning in all sports....

Very happy as a basketball fan from toronto to see the reaction across the city and country to our team. We beat some awesome teams in GS, Bucks and phily to get here....

Congrats to the Raptors, I guess it was meant to be. I mean all the lucky bounces(even injuries, etc) went their way. It was supposed to happen. Helluva fight from the Warriors. Just so undermanned, even if they made it to 7, I dunno how'd they win?

Sad for Klay, he's a brody and a top notch baller. Unbelievable the Warriors suffered 2 major injuries in 6 games(to 2 of their top 3 guys) against the Raptors. Has this ever happened in the Finals before?

Anyhow, happy this is over so we can hear more details on Davis.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

I think Philly was your best kill. I think they were underrated and I underrated them as well. GSW just had no luck. That Philly series was pretty epic.

Anyhow, congrats. Go celebrate, get drunk, etc. :D

This is tough for the warriors. If they don’t offer the max, the lakers will grab him, and this would be the end of an era of warriors dynasty.
