Moves him beyond what Jordan Crawford accomplished in green.
Lol would've been anyone but JB averaged *half* what Lillard (the Western Conference Player of the Week) averaged.

Doesn't make up for the All-Star snub, but well done still by JB.

Only seven guys have won more than one Player of the Week award this year. Lebron, Giannis, Harden, Siakam, Davis, Lillard and Jaylen Brown.

Props to JB on player of the week. The improvement since his first season has been nothing short of amazing.

The Jays are on a nice stretch again, similar to the one they had in December when Gordon was out. But now Gordon is back playing similarly well and those two aren't slowing down. Brown and Tatum also led the team in +/- per game in Cs' last 12 games (each one missed 4 games). Jaylen's three-point % has gone down however but is still getting into the paint and to the line at will. Tatum is still a beast on defense.

As far as other posters on this board go, I've always considered myself cautiously optimistic in regards to Brown. I like him a lot, but there's a lot of room for improvement.

His winning player of the week, an ultimately meaningless designation, made me think a little bit. Because I don't think he played that great. He struggled from deep, had a few too many turnovers, and didn't hit all of his defensive rotations...and I started to consider that maybe this board, myself included, is more critical of JB than is warranted.

I think some of it has to do with his immense potential and physical gifts. But I don't think he misses any more rotations than anybody else on the team, other than JT, who has been awesome on Team D. And yet, we all notice everyone of his lapses. His role is to attack the teeth of the D and go right at his man, and we kill him for having 3 turnovers....We've called him terrible after he put up 20 points on 50% shooting...

So I think that his winning Player of the Week and me thinking that he didn't even play that well is a great sign. When he does play up to his potential, he is pretty damn impressive. When he's locked in but commits a few mistakes...he's still pretty good.

I'm not crowning him or anything, and I've always liked him, but I'm starting to think that his ceiling, whether he gets there or not, might be higher than the 20-25 range I originally thought.

I know there is also talk about how he will perform in the play-offs. I worried about him fading, but I'm starting to think that he is mentally built for the post-season. I could be flat out wrong, but I think he's going to shine. He has a worker's mentality and he likes the bright lights. I think he's been playing through tired legs the last 2 weeks or so, and when we see him well-rested and locked in, I think we will see a special performance.

Feel free to save this to rub in my face if Im mistaken.

Ben Rohrbach basically sees Tatum/Brown as the thirdmost valuable under-25 duo in the league, behind the ones featuring potential all-time greats Doncic and Zion, but ahead of the ones featuring Embiid, Jokic, and Morant. He also has the Cs at third in his most recent power ranking.

I got them solidly near the bottom of the list because Brown isn't anything special. Tatum is though so like with Giannis and Siakam, pairing him with anyone automatically gets him on this list. Still, making top 10 is impressive.

Luka+Porzingis
Zion+Ingram/Ball
Morant+Jackson Jr
Jokic+Porter Jr.
Ayton+Booker
Embid+Simmons
Bagley+Fox
Trae+Collins
Giannis+DIvincenzo
Siakam+Anunoby
Sabonis+Turner
KAT+Wiggins

Guys on your list I'd definitely take Brown over:
Ball
Porter Jr.
Bagley
Divincenzo
Anunoby
Turner
Wiggins

Guys I'd also seriously consider taking Brown over:
JJJ
Simmons
Fox
Collins
Sabonis
Booker

Guys who I'd probably take over Brown (but I could be pretty easily talked out of doing so):
Porzingis
Ayton
Trae
Ingram
Siakam

Guys who I'd rank way over Brown:
Luka
Zion
Giannis
Jokic
Embiid
