Same lol.
The idea of a Smart/Edwards backcourt makes this dumpster fire of an off season almost tasty.

Yup he was amazing in the tournament. Especially against Virginia. He was so hot that they had to put 6’7 DeAndre Hunter of him for a little bit.

Really? Undersized PG, bad on D, iffy court vision and more turnovers than assists?

What does he do well other than shoot?

Might be true. But he can shoot the lights out.

Yeah. He is pretty much 5'11" barefeet and 6'0" in shoes. 6'6" Wingspan too. Way more stockier than IT. IT is something else though mentality wise and basketball skills. Someone his size should never have as much success as he had before his big injury.

More like a one man offense. His stats are misleading. Purdue had like one other spot up shooter and then garbage guys. I think his PG skills are better than advertised he just didn't have anyone to pass to.

great on offense. he's a one trick pony but when that trick is scoring then it's all good.

can he defend? seems undersized but stocky. haven't seen him enough to pay attention to whether he can stay in front of guys.

dana barros at #33 wouldn't be a bad haul.

The big question is, with his size, can he actually replicate that in the NBA? That short guy the Cavs drafted few years ago - the one they used to compare to IT - was like Edwards in college but couldn't cut in the NBA.

Yes, he can. He's taller than IT by 3-4 inches.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

It seems as if tho Wes J mentioned, Danny and the owners didn't take well to Rozier doing a media tour **** on the team. Danny just selected 2 PGs, with Smart on the team and Langford who's a ball handler, too. Seems like it is in fact bye bye Terry.

I'm not upset about Rozier going. Hope we get someone or pick back. I didn't watch like any college ball this year. Watched highlights of Edwards and fell in love with him.

Carson is two and a half inches taller than Kay Felder and has a 6 inch longer wingspan. Should have a much better chance of panning out in the NBA.

This is what Chauncey Billups said about 15 minutes before Carsen Edwards got selected:

“No, I was just going to say, I fell in love with Carsen Edwards this season. Talk about a guy playing with a chip on his shoulder. Him now going to be a 2nd round pick, somewhere in there, he doesn’t need any over chip to be on his shoulder but he will have some. I think he has a chance to be a pretty good player.”

I like Edwards, should be a good spark plug off the bench.

With the 33rd pick, you can't do much better.

Langford and Williams on the other hand..........

NBATV had a list of 5 noticeable 2nd rounders. Edwards was listed as one those 5.

I feel he is a 1st round talent and I would have taken him at 22.

This is my favorite pick of the night. I keep watching his highlights, which I also watched live. You’re literally looking at IT reincarnated but he gets to the basket better, has more size, and more range.

He's got a 6'6" wingspan, which is exceptional for a 6 foot tall guy. By comparison taller Garland and White both have 6'5" wingspans.

Edwards is very tough and can score. He's got a good chance to make it.
