Stunned no one drafted him. He is 7-7 and effective. I get he can be exploited in PnR, but give me a break. You can’t get to the rim on him.

We just drafted two 5'11 centers.

Tacko Fall is so bad, dunno what anyone sees in him. Do you think he could even pretend to stay on the court for one defensive possession against an NBA team? Sideshow player, have fun in China or something, bro. He will be 100 pct attacked every defensive possession just like someone like Boban, except at least Boban is freakishly strong in the post and is an automatic 2 pts every time down the court so it evens out. Tacko Fall is an eight foot pylon who shoots 36 pct from the FT line. He'll be fun for some summer league highlights and hopefully there will be some meme-able clips of him not even being able to run the length of the court or something.

When people look at Tacko Fall, what do they envision his absolute ceiling to be? He's the least agile player in the history of the NBA, he can't shoot, he's 10 feet tall and likely made of glass. Any good big will be able to box him out with ease, but sure he can snag some cheap rebounds over shorter players and I bet he'd be able to swat a few fun blocks. You legit will not even be able to run an offense with him on the court. It'll be 4v5 until he shows up in the halfcourt with 12 seconds left on the shotclock.

(PS I wish Stevens would hurry up and add a real centers' coach to his staff. While Stevens may have "vetted himself" and fairly believe that his record would look better if this season's whiff had come before his two ECF appearances, I think he still needs to get busy beefing up his staff for these new players!)

As long as he doesn't fall on anyone it's fine. At least he'll be fun to watch hobble around the court for a few minutes. Gonna be fun watch him inbound the ball to Edwards, Edwards run up the court and score in 4 seconds and Fall isn't even to his own free throw line yet.

This actually is a smart move by Tacko and his advisors. The Celtics at the moment have no size other than Robert Williams. All any undrafted player can ask for is a chance, and a roster devoid of big guys can be seen as an opportunity.
