what a disastrous draft this was. I really have no idea what Danny was thinking. This is and will continue to haunt us for years.

Carson had one good game, he is who he is, I don’t see any changes in his game. He’ll get hot once and a while and hit a few but even in college he’s never been consistent. I just don’t understand Ainge and his undersized guards, rather he take the boom or bust flyer on these late picks of his.

Starting to suspect that the Celtics will bring back Tacko Fall as a member of the 15 man roster NEXT YEAR. If they were willing to let someone go (still have a surplus of guards), and were to make the playoffs THIS YEAR, they could even upgrade Tacko to be eligible to play in the playoffs. But they would have to clear a spot on the 15 man roster to do that.

Actaully, this year the Two-Way players can play in the Playoffs. That was the last word.

Might be 5% of us on the board who have any interest in Carsen's continued development, but, here's a video anyway.

Of the things I like about Robert Williams, my favorite thing is that he spreads his arms when he retreats on defense.

I still remember everyone giving the Celtics high grades on the draft because of Carsen Edwards.

This draft was horrific. I guess Williams is decent. Romeo is the only draft pick that really hasn't played in 2 years yet his stock is at an all time high on this board.

He isn´t. He would be a decent #50 pick.

Let me rephrase this. He is decent in comparison to the rest of them.

haha i don´t know, I just can´t stand any of them. Grant acts as if he knew something but he is pretty useless out there. With Romeo there is at least the promise of something that might be there so he would be the last I´d trade. In any case, what an awful crop of players.

Going to guess it's a puff piece from the assistant coach who has been assigned to work with him saying that he's been working really hard and we're all going to be wowed once we see what he can do.

Then he'll probably get hurt again in 2 weeks.

Langford, Nesmith, edwards, semi, grant do not give us enough.

Tacko and Waters are 2 ways. I can’t complaint. But Edwards shouldn’t be on roster.

Our returns from the last two drafts have been pathetic. 2 lotto picks, 3 other FRPs and not one guaranteed long term rotation piece. Thats quite poor.

I was thinking last night that we should have a much better bench than we do now - and we would if our front office were able to draft better the last two drafts.

I haven't given up on Romeo just yet - I will say that.

In 2019 we had #14, #20, #22 and...
In 2020 we had #14, #26, and #30.

And yet our bench is weak. Really weak.

Out of SIX first rounders we have:

- Langford
- Grant Williams (I will never understand why we even considered drafting him)
- Edwards (again even at the time of the draft it was obvious he wasn't a good player)
- Nesmith
- Pritchard
- Two future second rounders

We didn't have #20 and #22 in 2019 because we traded the #20 for the #22 and #33. This is not hard.
In 2019 everyone lauded the Celtics' draft for getting Edwards.

Both Romeo and Grant were considered reaches while you had guys like Clarke, Keldon Johnson, Bazley, ect...all dropped. Odd how Ainge grabbed a concencous drop in Timelord the previous year yet reached twice this draft.

Sorry, you're wrong. We did have #14, #20, #22.

We ended up trading #20 (Thybulle) for #24 and #33 (Edwards). And we traded #24 (Jerome) + Baynes for the Milwaukee pick in 2020, which became #30 (Bane). Which we again traded alongside Kanter for 2 second rounders (and one of them gone to Charlotte as I believe for the Hayward TPE).

However I do agree that many people lauded drafting Edwards (myself am guilty of this). In hindsight the stats and facts where there to know better.

Yeah you're right. But it comes down to the same thing. You can't say we had 6 first rounders.
Should've kept Jerome.

I think Romeo is the only one from that draft that jas a chance . Grant Williams just flat out stinks . Carsen may yet have an nba career . Tremont and tacko will be gone. And Nesmith? Hes done nothing either . He hustles but cant hit a shot. Lets face it the past two years have been a disaster for the C’s. The kemba signing was probably the worst move of all. I was totally against it at the time and now we are stuck with him
