I'm happy for Al, he's getting paid and now has a chance to show Danny up. Happy for us because we can do better without that salary on our books. I'll be pissed if this board now treats Al like they treated Ray when he left for Miami. Not that anybody shoot be rooting for him in Philly.

Losing him sucks. Him going to Philly really makes it sting. Still wish him all the best but at this point I hope he never wins a championship with them. Can't root for that team to succeed, sorry.

Really appreciated Al's maturity and professionalism. He was the first big FA signing we had in a LOOOOOONG time and seems like an incredibly wonderful human being on top of it all. Wish him the best of luck in the future, just not against us.

I expected this outcome and started rationalizing it a few days ago, so already processed it and understand the decision not to give him the 4th year and that much loot.

Disgusting to see him go there. Good luck to him, it was a lot of fun.

My favourite Celtic along with Smart. A big thank you for everything he brought to the table. Will be missed.

Liked Al the person, thought Al the player was good, he was grossly overpaid at his time here.

Giving a 33 year old big 24+million for 4 years isn't a contract that seems tradable in the future to me either for Philly... hell it's probably a bad contract already for that franchise. But that's about as good of a bounce back from losing Butler as they could do. Rather lose Harris if I'm going to lose one of those two though just for fit reasons. Or get Dlo instead of Horford.

They better hope Embiid can be healthy.

But obviously Al can fit on any team and he's a fit there.

Al's obvious weaknesses are rebounding and he can be pushed around by stronger players. Having Embiid around solves both of them so that's perfect.

Tobias Harris at SF is a weird move for them but okay.

Simmons
Richardson
Harris
Horford
Embiid

Hmm... idk. I just don't know. That doesn't seem like enough scoring to win a ring to me, but it's not far off. Everything is back to either Simmons getting a shot or Embiid perfecting his 3 point shot for them.

Now that Horford is moved to the 4 permanently I wonder how much longer his legs will be able to stick around with the new age PFs. I mean he'll probably be fine next year but do you really expect him to keep up with them at 34, 35, 36? It seemed like the obvious move for him to age gracefully was to stay at C.

Good for Philly, cashing in an making a run. I liked their chances and their team more with Butler on it though.

Nothing but love from my part.

Wish him all the luck, apart from when he plays against us.

He has been the MVP of the Celtics since he got here.

Nothing but nice words for Al. Go get that money.

Damn. Hate that he went to Philly. Thanks for the good times Al. You were great when you were here. Can’t say I blame him. He got a ton of money from a good team.

I hope with all my strengths that the Sixers implode next season. I can't be happy for Horford and I'm feeling disgusted to see him joining the Sixers. I hate all of them.
