So what is on Ainge’s mind after seeing these terrible Harris and Middleton contracts. He has to be sick to his stomach(kinda) to think he might have to invest that much into Brown. Of course Brown will want this what do you think he needs to average to command this.

Everyone gets at least $100M in the NBA. So I'm sure Jaylen will too. I'm not worried about it. We have his rights through next year.

Hed need to average 20+ppg and get better at dishing the ball, imo. Harris contract is a joke.

Middleton is 27, came off an all star appearance, and is much better.

I think jaylen should get 4x52, but this season has been nuts, ie Rozier what 4 at 17 a year? So maybe 4x80, I guess? Fingers crossed. It's bs.

Jamal Murray just got 5x170 and you think JB will get 4x80?

That TV deal pushed the overall money up and teams basically have to spend a certain percent of the cap, so crappy teams are gonna need someone to try to put some butts in seats. Thank goodness there is a rule about minimum spending though or else you'd see teams think, fans will come to watch the other teams stars, let's just run this as cheap as **** possible like most businesses operate.

good thing the max for young players is much less. Jb and Tatum can't get Middleton money for a long time.

Jaylen is gonna get a max or near-max offer from someone. Just go look at the FA next season, it's pretty barren. AD is just gonna get the max from the Lakers, Draymond the max from the Warriors.

Hopefully Brown has a season that would make it worth giving him the max or some really awful season, anything in between will just be annoying.

158 million is still a lot of money, but having RFA should give us the ability to push it down. You could make them go get a 4 year offer.

Jamal Murray just got the 170 extension, so the numbers can still get pretty big when you are talking about 5 years and 8% raises and possible designation.
