In theory, we have a lot of possibilities at the 4:
-- One of the natural SFs, so that we have a total of 4 natural perimeter players playing at once
-- Theis, playing next to a center rather than being the center
-- G. Williams
-- Semi
-- Yabu Dabba Don't

A number of those actually seem plausible.

Totally forgot about Grant W. I guess there's a reason DA got an NBA ready PF albeit an undersized one. I hope he does well.

Random but looking at past super teams I didn’t realize KG was acquired a month after Ray. Was there a general sense of what was going to happen and Minnesota was just playing hardball? Or would Danny have been content on Pierce/Ray at the time of the draft?

He's said in the past he would be content but I doubt he'd be content just having two guys

I think Yabs and Wanamaker might be in trouble. Waters and Edwards look good.

Didn't see that coming but that's a great deal for Mook.

I don't see why Denver would do this but a Yabs and Mil pick for Hermangonez would be ideal. Give us a traditional 4 with some range.

I actually think a backup wing wouldnt be the worst thing either. Denzel Valentine could be useful backup hes around same # as Yabs

I'd be alright with "minutes for wings" angle if we were a rebuilding team.

Given how weak the East is, we should be trying to win it. And you can't do that with players playing out of position.

Right now, PHI and MIL will walk all over us in the middle. It will be embarrassing.

This was a major miss for Danny. He lost our own FA in a position of need for reasonable and short money.

So you want to give a first round pick - or more - for Marcus Morris? Not to mention you’d have to give him years, which takes away the cap space option for next year.

Wild idea...

Jaylen+Hayward for Westbrook.

Since trading for a possibly, arguably selfish player like Kyrie didn't turn out so well, you want to trade for Westbrook instead?

That's why it's a wild idea. At least he's locked up contract wise...would he fit at 2 guard? Probably not

I definitely would give up a pick to get Morris back. 10 mil per year for 2 years?? Huge bargain.

Danny is way too tightfisted with his picks. They are a total crapshoot.

And for those talking about RWill being a major contributor this year, after watching the game tonight, I don't see it at all. He looks lost out there.

Right now, with our current roster, I think we are looking at a #6 seed.

MIL
PHI
IND
TOR
BKN
BOS

We are too weak in the middle. Marcus would put us up there with IND for #3.

We also don't have shooters. I mean who are our shooters. This roster is way out of whack which is frustrating because the East is really weak.

Rookies looked good, tho. That's a positive.
