Hahaha remember that time we drafted him and I was like oh crap I don’t know who this is and then some were like oh he’s going to be Draymond green and we all got our hopes up and I was like hahah cool.

That was a fun night.

Very disappointed in him. Never got better.

Great locker room guy though.

Frustrating when you draft someone because of their potential and they don’t improve on anything at all. But I guess that’s what you get from dipping into the Europe waters. It’s a crapshoot to say the least.

Guerschon had a likeable personality, and by all accounts was well liked by his teammates and coaching staff. In the end, though, he just couldn't hold down a spot. He is not the first player, nor will he be the last, to move from the end of the bench to a job somewhere else. We all had higher hopes, but things did not work out that way. I wish him well.

Yea, he needed to lose weight to be more mobile. Didn't do it, hasn't shown much improvement. Didn't look too great in Summer League.. I guess it was time.
Good assessment:

Really liked him as a rookie but he never progressed here. Wish him well, seemed like a great teammate. Perhaps that means Smart or Brown are combined or Hayward gets moved but I think this report signals that Celtics are not planning to make a move this year. They definitely are not looking to group smaller salaries to target a higher salaried or max big.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Waiting on someone to put together a montage of all of Yabu's bow-and-arrow dabs set to Boyz II Men - It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday

Thank God he's gone, he gotta be one of the worst draft picks Ainge ever made in the first round, damn.

The Dabusele was fun, as were all the big butt memes. Good luck, Dancing Bear.

Never a good sign when a guy looks worse in his 4th summer league than he did in his first. Sorry, is this the appreciation thread? I love your ass, yabu.

Seemed like a nice guy and a great teammate, but basketball is not for him.

Best of luck in the Euroleague!

There's nothing to appreciate really. Nice enough kid I guess?

Danny needs to never use China for a draft and stash ever again. That was the dumbest idea in the galaxy. How is anyone, going to learn anything, that resembles how to play on an NBA team, in friggin' CHINA?

He dislocated his pinky and now this?

Danny Ainge is cold as ice! No FA will ever sign in Boston now!!!

Good riddance Yabufatse.

Well, it was a failed effort, an all sides.
He had a good personality though, no doubt.

That said, how do we address his salary loss? Stretched over 3 years?
Or, is it possible to pick up his next year, Without Guaranteeing it, and Stretch over 5 years?

This could be very important, as we finish out the Roster, and try to stay under the Cap (Tax, etc, etc.).
A 3 year Stretch would give us roughly $2 Million more to spend, this year.

He was on a par with M.L. Carr as one of the best Celtics towel waivers of all time.
