So here’s my take on the rotation. I think the C position will be pretty fluid throughout the year. I think Theis starts on most nights. But I think Kanter, Williams and Poirier will have a chance to establish themselves. Interested to see what Brad does on opening night.

Kemba
Jaylen
Hayward
Tatum
Theis

Smart
Grant Williams
Kanter/ R. Williams/Poirier (2/3) will be on 12 man
Edwards

Semi
Wanamaker

Inactive

Langford
Green
Poirier/Williams

I'd think they'd want to and should invest in giving Rob rotation minutes every game, and after what Poirier showed in the last preseason game, they should probably feed him some minutes too.

But I believe they can have 13 active players every game, so just Langford (until he gets going) and Green would need to sit on those rare nights when everyone else is healthy and ready to go. (Plus, of course, we want to see some of Waters and Fall.)

After training camp and preseason, my thoughts havent changed much on the best lineups moving forward.

Kemba
Smart
Brown
Tatum
Williams or Poirier

The bench is a little fluid though, imo, but primarily

Edwards
Green
Hayward
GWilliams or Theis
Kanter

Deep Bench
Waters
Langford
Tacko
Semi
and 2 of:
RWilliams, GWilliams, Poirier, Theis, Semi

I firmly believe that Theis, Wannamaker, Semi will all be shopped (with or without Gordon attached) as soon as they can for a proper power forward. Also there is no way this team goes into February with 5 mill tied up in Kanter, 5 mill tied up in Theis, 1.5 mill tied up in Wannamaker, and 1.5 mill tied up in Semi. Some of them will be moved.

I also believe that the team wants RW3 to be the man moving forward and that is one of the reason for the selection of centers signed at this point in time. Kanter can rebound and score,...he can teach that to Williams. Poirer is strong, sets great screens and is excellent at rolling to basket, he can teach Rob that.

Larranaga is the #2 coach at this point and Tacko is a two-way guy.
Everybody's invested in Tacko.

I wonder what Aron Baynes' accuracy is on straightaway 3s in practice.

Really happy Javonte made the team.

Strus was just too inconsistent. Sign him to Maine and let’s see how he develops.

He can't be signed as a Celtics Affiliate. He made over $50,000 Guaranteed.
There might be another way that he gets into the G-League.
