"Smart said he was “exercising caution,” Tuesday when he sat out the team’s Day 2 of practice with soreness in his left ankle. Multiple reports coming out of practice Wednesday update his status to “out indefinitely,” with tightness in his left calf." So what is it calf ankle or tendon?

Brown has looked pretty freaking good in these videos. Kid looks poised for a great season. If I'm Danny I'd still see if he accepts like 25-28(maybe 29 mils) a year extension this summer. I've always been a supporter of his and always thought he has at the very least all-star talent. I'd take Brown over Murray 10 out 10 times. I think Brown has the complete package- athletic ability, length, strength, shooting, not afraid of the big moments, his 3 point shot has above average. If he improves his handles, which is a big IF, he can easily be a better version of Butler(who's shorter, confrontational as a person and a bit lacking when it comes to efficiency at times)...

Also has Brown grown like maybe close to an inch. Turner is a legit 6'11 guy. Brown was 6'7, 4 inches is a huge height advantage. It looks more like 3 to me.
Good assessment:

According to John Schuhmann of NBA.com, looks like we may have three starters for FIBA

Both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are pretty safe bets to make the final roster, and there's a chance they could be the starting forwards. Tatum shot very well in the controlled scrimmage that the media watched on Thursday, and Brown is arguably the most versatile forward in camp.

This would be a nice feather for those two, and put Kuzma in his place a little bit. It's not his fault, but I have to hate him :dontknow:

The GB tells me Brown isn't good. This can't be true.

I think its cuz he has been around toxic young players like Jarrett ‘Willie Cauley-Stein’ Allen and Joe ‘Steve Novak’ Harris. Those dudes just infect pretty much everyone around them. Happy they’ll be cut and away from our guys soon.

Is there a footage of Tatum shooting 3s? That shot after a pass from Walker actually looked quick and smooth.

I think USAMB learned a bit from just having scoring star and scoring star back before the Redeem Team. Having glue pieces like Shane Battier, etc is good for team cohesion. If Marcus Smart can’t go, I think Jaylen’s the next best bet for that guard/forward slot

There's also the rumor that when Kawhi demanded a trade, the Spurs (and by extension, Pop) were really high on Jaylen.

Wait, Middleton is on the team? Hard to see JB and Tatum taking both forward spots ahead of him. Unless It's Kemba, JB, Middleton, Tatum, C (Turner?)

Somebody's gotta be a Backup.
12 Players has always seemed kinda skimpy for me.

I'd like to see teams go up to 15. Protect against Injury, and travel Fatigue.
