Isnt he expected to return this series?

Who knows. I've lived through the KG knee situation in 2009 where he was going to "return any game" during the playoffs then during the 2018 ECF run where even the top-level pundits were expecting Hayward to come back for the playoffs.

I tend to believe if a player can remotely play during the playoffs, they do. Either that or they're too soft to make an impact even if they do play. If we do somehow get Hayward back, which I highly doubt, he'll be so limited it won't matter..

Just look up the general timeline for grade 3 sprains

6-12 weeks in the regular season

6 weeks for Hayward would be the start of the finals.

And that's the regular season where you can slowly ramp up someone with gametime, not the playoffs.

No he's not expected to return this series. That's just media hype having to talk about something on tv.

Can’t wait for the rest of this soft team to blame Hayward if they lose game 3.

It's coming if he plays

This dude can erase his entire history with us and become a legend if he comes back and propels this team to the promised land.

I agree wholeheartedly. It's funny how that works too...If he comes in and even just plays well, not great, not bad, just well. Hits a few timely shots and doesn't do anything that we look back on and say, wtf...The past will be completely re-written for him. Of course, we have to win the series but I'm still holding out a sliver of hope we can somehow turn our closing problems into a positive and eek out the next game. We shall see

We NEED Hayward ... but if he's not ready. Don't even think about it ... The heat are wayyyy to good on the pick n roll. To have someone who can't move on the floor ...

I've never been a Hayward fan. But it seems we could use his 10-17ppg right now. If nothing else. Of course assuming the others maintain their output It'd also be good if Kemba found a better rhythm. He seems out of sync to me. As well as Tatum. Seems we could use a leader, either Kemba or Tatum, and everyone fall in behind. RIght now they have no real identity. Something is out of sync.

And I don't mind the fighting in the locker room, especially if it translates onto the court. But those guys should've been pissed at themselves and each other for blowing decent leads twice and losing. SHould've been spitting fighting mad. Hell yeah throw some **** chairs and stomp and spit. And carry that to the next game and beyond. Get mad get angry get hungry and want to put a hurting on something, preferably the Heat.

***Actyually back to the leader thing. My sentiments is your PG should be your floor general and perhaps therefore your leader in a sense. Tatum does a lot of pounding, but he gets results. Seems somethings in his head right now though.

Did they ever give any timeline on Romeo? With Gordon back he's probably missed his window anyways, but he might find some Herro/Robinson chasing minutes on D. Guess you want your groin in good shape for that...

Last night's ESPN radio announcers said Romeo has left the bubble and is done for the season.

Oh snap, really? Dang. He must have really strained that thing. Cripes, he can't stay healthy.
