I don’t wish anyone ill but I love how we look without Semi in the lineup.

Glad Fournier had a couple extra days. I'm sure he lost a little sleep the first couple days after the trade. I know Vuc looked completely fatigued last night.

For now, it’s unclear if Fournier tested positive for COVID-19 or is out due to contact tracing. If it’s the latter, exposure to COVID-19 means that Fournier will have to test negatively for seven days before leaving quarantine. He could potentially return next Sunday when the Celtics host old friends Gordon Hayward, Terry Rozier, Brad Wanamaker, and the Hornets. Coincidentally, Fournier was acquired using the TPE generated from Hayward’s departure to Charlotte.

If it IS Covid, how much longer would he be out? How long was Jayson out again?

The lack of tangible information on both Fournier and Langford is extraordinarily frustrating. There isn't an inkling of an idea of when either will be back that I've heard yet.

Sometimes it takes an unfortunate injury to force a coach to change things up. It's 'too soon', and I don't want to jinx them, but I completely agree with you. Semi is a black hole and just kills the ball rotation, albeit, he does make his share but not enough to overcome the negative possessions.

That implies a questionable exposure!

gordon played with denver last night ...so what's the problem with fournier. i just don't trust any league office when it comes to boston teams. i haven't since stern became commissioner and his shenanigans screwing the c's. i wouldn't doubt it goes back further than that in baseball, football or hockey.

edit: and vucevic played for the bulls saturday so again....why this hang up with fournier

What the **** is going on with Langford at this point? How long has he been in the protocol now? What a waste of a season for him.

can't give a Covid test to someone that doesn't exist.
can't confirm their whereabouts and possible exposure either!

I saw a dream last night that we had a player who was giving some points off the bench. But suddenly I woke up once I saw the name "Langford" on jersey . because even in my sleep I realized that this can't be true , there is no a player named Langford

So if the Celtics were superheroes, Tatum would be the immortal kid (always 19), Langford would be the invisible man (existence can't be proven), and Rob would of course be the Timelord.

Per this article, Fournier has been upgraded to available for tonight's game, and both Thompson and someone named Langford are expected to return this week.
