I believe Marley was just asking when Kyrie and Durant will adopt a baby together.

Naz Reid had 14 and 11 tonight - just preseason, but he was another really interesting guy in the draft..

What the hell? I made a Wall of Shame? I'm supposed to a lurker with an embarrassing low post count for the number of years I have been here.

Don't feel bad, i think it's because only 12 people overall ever posted in it making it an easy wall to hit. Heck, i was even in the middle for posts.

Color me surprised. Perhaps a change in venue will help his career?

Zion destroyed back-to-back NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert yesterday. He is just too big, quick and strong. Nobody can stop Zion... except for Mr. Tacko Fall. I can't think of a better reason to sign him up. He can battle Zion to a standstill and the rest of the team can beat the Pelicans.

Danny... just do it and thank us later.

It seems to help that he's playing with a lot of veterans who know exactly what to do on the court. It turns his offensive awareness into a plus, where it was wasted in Phoenix. He's got a full beard now.. and apparently he's "buying in" with the Bucks' strength coaches. But all he really needed was patience and the right role. Strength and confidence have been the two obvious weak points in his profile, and I think he lost his confidence because he was thrown to the wolves before he had enough physical development and forced to get pushed around over and over. What I don't know is whether he still has 'star' or 'star role-player' upside - he doesn't turn 22 until November! Another year or two of muscle and his core skills - rebounding, shot blocking, shooting, passing - are already there. Wish we had him on a three-year deal. Will he be a better pro than Tacko? Who can tell?

Prediction or trade scenario to watch out for: Buddy Hield to Indiana for Sabonis.

Brogdon/Hield/Oladipo/Warren/Turner becomes their best lineup, dream spacing for Vic..

The Kings break up their backcourt, because it’s the Kings.

Yeah I was kinda surprised to be on it at all, let alone that high up. I actually think this is my favorite thread but I guess it's a niche market haha :dontknow:

If Minnesota decides to move Towns to rebuild - he doesn’t defend, he’s empty stats, they find a separate deal for Wiggins that unclogs their path forward (maybe Gallo?) - NOP could offer Jrue (easier to flip for assets than CP3), Hayes, Okafor, Favors for Dieng, and all or some of the picks they got from the Lakers and field:

Lonzo
Nickeil
Ingram
Zion
Towns

Would hate to miss out on KAT in that scenario, but what an amazing f*ck you it would be to Davis and Rich Paul, and New Orleans would be a just-add-water championship contender.

Why would the Kings trade a potential future all star for a guy who'll never sniff an all star game?

He’s literally a foot taller than Zion.
Interesting question: Whose odd body type last longer in the NBA: super tall Tacko or bulky Zion?

I think that weight is going to play a factor for him sooner rather than later

So on one hand he’s “empty stats” and then he’s the final piece in a "just-add-water championship contender” (while removing their best player in the process) and someone you’d "hate to miss out on”?

FWIW I think he’s going to have a monster year and would be a great fit here.

MVPs make a lot of players look good. His crazy length does fit well with what they do.

Sorry, to be clearer, I was shorthanding the rationale for Minnesota to trade him - if they did, it would be based partly on those judgments.

I don’t know who we could trade for him - Hayward + Rob Williams + Langford + MEM pick + MIL pick?

He’s a one of a kind scorer. But his rookie year hype - humble, eager to learn, like Tim Duncan, on the way to being great defensively - hasn’t panned out. He deserved better role models on the roster, veteran bigs to learn from. KG had Sam Mitchell as a rookie.. Loved the idea of getting Towns with Horford to mentor him.
