Kyrie will never change man. Weirdest person ever...

He's mastering the art of speaking a lot without saying anything at all. Most people like that end up having rewarding careers in politics.

I was just thinking he sounds like the Marianne Williamson of the sports world.

I am going to unabashedly root for Zion to be healthy and successful (unless the 'successful' part comes at our expense in the Finals:). That guy is cool.

Raptors won the title, so I get them being the first game of the season, but they should have been scheduled to play an Eastern Conference opponent who made the playoffs last year. To schedule them against the Pelicans just because of Zion is the NBA trying to force feed the next perceived superstar to everyone. Zion is not and will never be a superstar. He is too injury prone. He'll still probably be voted in an all star game because of the insane hype already esatblished for him.

I hope everyone pounded the over when the O/U on the Pelicans dipped to 37.5 when Zion went down. This team is so nice, really deep. Can't wait for them to get the Lakers in Round 1 and wipe the floor with them.

How are they going to get him? They're wildly over the cap and he will not be a cheap FA. The Pelicans are a really good team, they aren't going to trade him.

I just think of Wiz Khalifa whenever I see him. How in the world can you be in the NBA for 3 years and still look malnourished?

The Pelicans have 30 national tv games this season. Let's start the Zion count now at 0/14 because that takes us to around the 8 week mark. Already nearly half of the 30 will be national fans watching a lottery team. :rofl2:

Maybe now they'll stop scheduling national tv games based on rookies who haven't even played an NBA minute.

Ingram scored team high 22 pts but was team worst -19 plus minus. If they had benched him the last 2 mins, the win in regulation. HE IS TERRIBLE.

It's really unfortunate when you have to rely on a midrange double-pump jumpers from Brandon Ingram. Hope he finds his way on a less interesting team at some point. Maybe Minnesota. Wiggins+Ingram 2021: 42 shots, 42 points. KAT forces his way out to Boston. Make it happen.

Why do you think this is a lottery team? The only reason the didn't win in regulation is because Alvin Gentry is either: a moron who doesn't understand that Ingram sucks, or: he needs to play Ingram so they can trade him. The Pelicans look really good to me. 3 seed if in the East.

Also what is wrong with scheduling games for the most neutrally exciting team in the league? Pelicans are so much more interesting, as a neutral observer, than every other team in the league. They are the League Pass team of the year with or without Zion. And Zion will probably still play 50+ games.
