Chicago might want to salary dump Thaddeus Young, since he's not really fitting in there. Boston would have to trade either Theis or Kanter to make the money work, so they'd need to pick up a center from elsewhere, if they deal for Young.

Poirier, Ojeleye and Carsten Edwards to Utah for Ed Davis, Georges Niang and Miye Oni. Davis is a veteran big, Niang is shooting well over 40% from beyond the arc and Oni (in my view) is a better long-term development project than Edwards, who is a one-trick pony.

Lakers get a backup playmaker

Boston upgrades bench scoring and takes a low cost chance on smith jr. (Smart can be backup pg and green backup sg if doesnt work well.

Kemba/smith
Brown/smart
Hayward/kuzma
Tatum/gwilliams
Theis/kanter

this deal brings 2 of my least favorite players to the Celtics (Smith JR & Kuz). NO THANKS

Both alot of potential and are very much buy low guys. Was pretty high on smith jr out of college, nothing gone his way since though.

I always liked Thad Young but I I’d defer on others on this one. Is he a clear upgrade anywhere? I’m gonna guess no.

I’m a little afraid Morris will kill ball movement a bit more. The whole link with last year brings me nightmares.

I don’t even like Kuzma ( that’s ok I do t have to like the guy personally) but the Lakers could get a much better player than Brad, I think. I’m still a Rondo guy. As bad as he’s been at times, and it’s been bad, I would count on him in the playoffs.

Just kidding about Morris, since we let him walk - but he would be a good fit defensively..

I think Danny was a DSJ fan back at the draft.. He’s kind of rookie Rozier-y - needs to prove he can run a team and his shot is no good..

Richaun Holmes would be a nice get and we probably can get him for cheap.

Holmes
for
Semi, Porier and a pick?

Come on guys, it's easy to trade Porier but nobody wants him, we have to do better.

Well, his numbers are down in Chicago, especially offensive, but he was a 7 win player in Indy last year and has guarded Giannis well in the past.

No. I wouldn't trade Theis for Thad, and I wouldn't trade Kanter for Thad. He's an energy wing that cannot shoot. he wouldn't address what we need

No thanks on DSJ. I'm not sure he'd do well playing for Brad.
