Theis is the 6th best player on our team. He's a very quality player at that spot in the pecking order. Our talent is a little disproportionately balanced towards the perimeter so at times he looks like a weakness but that's not an indictment of the quality of player he is.

Daniel Theis might be the most underrated player in the bubble. Not because he is an all-star, but because he is a net positive, when everyone saw him as a giant weakness.

Theis is a solid player. He's somewhat limited in the playoffs on offense due to his lack of length and explosion but on defense he knows how to play, is a pretty smart player, and stays within himself. I do think he will get a big contract after next year and proceed to flop but glad he's on the team..

The GB has been giving Theis props consistently all season. I often feel like he gets more love over there than he does over here. A lot of our fans love him, but there's still a sizable contingent that jumps all over him the moment he has a bad stretch.

Wanamaker too - he's almost universally regarded as a solid backup over there. They were on to him before most of our fanbase was.

Certainly he gets some love there, but I do recall at least one Raptor fan stating that the Raptors had such a large edge inside that it would be the driving factor in the series.

Theis is a good player. But this postseason I feel he's definitely phasing into "So many people talking about how he's underrated that he's overrated" territory.

Not a coincidence the team falls off a cliff down the stretch when he fouls out.

He’s pretty much the only one who knows how to screen for our guys properly and when to cut to the rim to create space. Otherwise it’s just iso after iso.

Love Theis as a backup. As a starter he's... :noway: :(

Think he's peacing out for a bigger deal next offseason if Danny doesn't trade him first. Oh well..

Trade him or let hik walk after next season, let him get his money elsewhere

Danimal Theis was gutted and mounted on a wall by Bam Adyebayo in Game 6.

I like Theis, but Adeybayo turned him into a trophy.

It’s like he wasn’t even there. The value of Theis just went down the drain on that 2 consecutive plays. He should have continued to sat down in the bench. He has Stevens to blame for that. lol

You have to go a long way back to find a time when Theis really contributed to a win against a quality big like Bam.
All the way back to the 2nd half of game 5.

Every level a player goes up their weakness get more magnified.. He was brutal against Philly.. wouldn't even shoot a 3.. Again bad against Tor.. and final nail in the coffin vs Miami..

as a backup sure.. but trying to win the BIG Prize = HELL NO!!
