Tatum was 5th in player votes for frontcourt, but didn't make the top 5 in media vote.

Jaylen didn't crack the top media or player votes for backcourt, but there are only 4 spots so I would assume he was somewhere close behind.

I thikn that they both get voted in as Reserves. Probably in the general (2) category.

Tatum is pretty popular, I really hope he gets in as a reserve. Not sure if he does but I think he should? lol

edit: I think players/media are giving Kemba the most credit for this season so far. A lot to do with stepping into what was a toxic situation and turning it around.

Tatum gets in via coach's picks. Jaylen unlikely to be picked by coaches now. Cynical me is hoping this doesn't make him "want to prove something to everybody" and team play is affected by it negatively.

I say this every year, but I think that there should be 15 All-Stars per Conference.
There's 15 teams, and 15 max. players per team. It just makes sense to me.

And as well, the General Reserves should include Defensive Players.

5 Starters
5 Reserves
5 General Players
And then Replacements.

Buying 20 new devices and signing up for 10 google accounts paid off. Celtic Kemba is an All-Star starter! Hope he ends up with the good guys aka Giannis's team.

Zach Lowe wanted Jaylen on the team, but evidently that was an unusual stance for the media to take.

Tatum has the best dossier, but he is shooting a career-worst 47% on 2s and is the fourth-best passer among Boston's heavy-rotation guys.

Tatum is ahead of Brown as a distributor, and underrated on defense -- Brown's equal. Brad Stevens has leaned most on Tatum to prop up Boston's offense when Walker rests. I'd bet on Tatum being better than Brown over his career -- and probably over the rest of this season.

But Tatum and Brown are still mostly finishers, and Brown -- 39% from deep, 55% on 2s -- has finished more accurately over the relevant sample. Tatum's case isn't so strong that Boston should get a third All-Star.
