Beating Toronto, Miami or Milwaukee 4 out of 7 will be like swallowing razor blades. These boys play so hard.

Nick Nurse copying Brad Stevens' strategy of letting the other team come back from being down big to get his players reps in clutch situation. Raptors lose 3rd Q 17-point lead in a blink of an eye. We have another good one in the bubble!

Man if Kelly was half as agressive shooting the ball when he was with us... I don't know how many times i screamed "shoot it" at my laptop just to see Kelly pump fake an open three and pass it up or drive the lane

Jimmy Butler has 2 consecutive turnovers in the final minute. Dude is overrated.

I don't want Miami getting closer to the 3 seed. I'm glad they lost.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

He is annoying as hell to watch. But i totally understand why raptor fans love him. He makes winning plays. He is very similar to Smart in some ways.

Perfect game for the Celtics. Close game, hard defense, many fouls and Raptors win. If we beat the Heat tomorrow night, 3rd seed is nearly wrapped up. C's ain't catching Toronto for 2nd seed anyway.

Biggest Difference is other coaches play their players big minutes. That's my biggest grip with Brad. Smart, Hayward, Tatum, Jaylen and Kemba need to be playing 35-40 minutes in the playoffs...not getting babysitted to insert bums. He played Van Fleet 42 minutes..when does Brad ever do that with anyone?

I mean Tatum has already played 10 playoff games with at least 38 mins, 4 games with at least 40. That's with Mook, Horford, and Rozier still in the roster. He averaged 36 minutes per game as a rookie. Both Kawhi and PG averaged about 27 in their rookie postseason.
We have a shallower bench this season. Let's see how Brad manages everyone's minutes in the postseason with a healthy squad (hopefully Kemba too by then). Tatum did play 40 mins against the Blazers. I think Gordo and Brown 36+ each.

Lowry's flop turned out to be the difference-maker in Raptors win. Heat went down 4 after the flagrant foul call and never regained the lead. You can hate on the guy and how he plays, but he does everything in his power to help his team win. Replacing Casey with Nurse and getting rid of DeMar DeMidrange have been a huge boost for them.
Meanwhile:
Added 11 rebounds.

Hmmm, bad luck for the Grizz that Zion digged deep to play well for half a games worth of minutes and pull out a close one.
Zion is tough to stop if he would get in shape.
But now with just 1.5 game lead on the 8th seed the Grizz have made things interesting. Still very unlikely they blow that lead with what 6 games to go but still... it's not crazy now.

We have a healthy roster now AND the addition of the wing defender/play maker we've needed in Justice Winslow plus we have a 4 game lead with 8 to play which means even if the 9th place team is within 4 games of us they'd have to beat us twice to take our 8th spot... that's not happening. Just enjoy the 17th pick we give y'all in this weak draft and be thankful...lol

Re: Around the NBA (Non-Celtics) 2019-2020, Part 2 – "The Bubble Bunch"
Prior to the re-start, I seem to recall most of the pundits saying that these 8 games are really sort of a second preseason and the outcomes don't mean much, other than for the few teams scrambling over the last playoff spot. The fact that there is no real home court advantage further drove home that point -- does it really matter if you're the 4 seed or the 5 seed if you're playing a 7 game series at a neutral site?
Despite that (and after a whopping 2 game sample size for most teams) those same pundits now seem to be reading a whole hell of a lot into the outcomes. Toronto is now unstoppable, as is Houston. If the Pacers beat the Magic and Suns they'll be on a 4 game win streak and I'm sure we will start to hear about them next.
Sorry but I think the pundits were right the first time. Everyone has been off for a while and needs to get back into rhythm. Especially given how weird these new games must be for the players with no fans in some weird location and with everything going on in the world. Well at least we still seem to have the same **** officiating. Anyway rant over -- hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.

This is facts. He was a great clutch player back in Chicago, but in Miami he hasn't been the same.
He still has moments, but I can remember streaming a few Heat games this year and watching him botch the final play.

Having watched at least a game a day during the restart, I just realized how little I care about the fans and whatever else goes on inside the arena. I don't even notice the squeaky shoes or other noises people on Twitter complain about. Maybe my feelings will change once the playoffs come around, but I'm enjoying Bubble Ball as it is right now. Just love competitive NBA bball.

Wait Shake Milton wasn't the savior for the Sixers? Weird. That's all I was hearing for the past 2 weeks.
Spurs without 3 starters and up 4 with 2 mins left. Remind me again why I'm supposed to be so afraid of them in the first round?
