I am!

Happy Happy Update Night!
I had time to watch parts of 2 games - so you get my commentary also today - lol.

Nets whack Craps.
Dinwiddie & LeVert are true ballers.
Raptors play hard & feisty as hell. Kudos to a very very good team.
Suddenly Ibaka is Curry & VanVleet is very underrated.

Pacers beat down Greek-less Bucks.

Jazz just gave Heat 1-4 road trip.
Jazz are awesome 3 point shooting team (1st in the NBA) w Gobert cleaning up inside.
We will have our hands full on 2/26 (the day I arrive in SLC for my annual ski trip!)
Butler is a gritty excellent baller.
This kid Robinson who went to my alma mater is the second best 3 point shooter in the NBA as a **** rookie w 6-12 tonight! (Williams, my little super academic Little Ivy school [which has transformed from mega-conservative/all men to Berkeley **** East], has NEVER EVER helped to produce a professional basketball player of this apparent stature!)
Iggy & Jae shot 6-13 from 3 for the Heat today.
Second best 3 point shooting team in the NBA.

So.....
Craps 40-15
Celtics 37-16

Heat 35-19

Sixers 34-21
Pacers 32-23

I L behind Craps & 3 L ahead of Heat.
Pacers more solidly in the 6 seed.

We need to beat the **** Clippers tomorrow to finish off an outstanding pre ASB 54 games!
Celtics ——- Ooo **** Rah!

Parl & mods,
Can this thread have a temporary Sticky?
I for one will be updating it just about every day until the RS ends & I think a few others will be posting in it regularly as well.
If not, no big deal - not hard to locate.
Thanks.

I don't think it's reached that level yet.
There's a lot of threads on here, and only so many can/should be stickied.

All 4 Top Eastern Conf teams have lost their last game.
Time for the Celtics to make that move.

Win this one, going into the Break.

BOS will gain half a game on TOR, IND, and MIA. It is written. In my wishbook. Just now. So it shall be.

Close enough. I'll take it! Celtics!

Current 538 ELO forecast: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-nba-predictions/

As an aside, it doesn't look like Nets are gonna end up 10+ games better than the Celtics this season.
As an another aside, Grizzlies are currently projected to have a 44% chance of making the playoffs.

Based on strength of schedule?
They are projecting we finish 19-10.

GLORIOUS Update Night!
Awesome **** W VS one of the best teams in the NBA.

Craps 40-15
Celtics 38-16

Heat 35-19

Sixers 34-21
Pacers 32-23

I L behind Craps & 3 L ahead of Heat.

Need to rest up & heal up (JB) & come out all guns blazing for challenging 11 game run immediately after the ASB - including 7 hard games VS playoff teams (Fakers A, Jazz A, Rockets again H, Jazz again H, OKC again H, Pacers A & Bucks A. The other 4 games are TCOB games - Wolves A, Blazers possibly w/o Dame A, Nets H & Cavs A.

Celtics ——- Ooo **** Rah!
I love this team!

The Celtics opponents have been very good lately, which puts a few difficult games behind them, though they do have a tough road trip coming up after the break.

Going forward Toronto and Boston now have equal schedules:

Probably already been done, but.... quick schedule scan: 2-1 vs Craps. Wins 10/25, 12/25. Loss 12/28
1 game left in TOR on 3/20. It would behoove us to win that.

Did the post-ASB games begin yet?

Except for some phenomenal 3 point shooting, & a few otherworldly dunks, this entire weekend has been an utter waste of time & extremely bad noise (allegedly music).

Not if the 66-16 Celtics have anything to say about it. LOL Bucks need to lose at least another 8 games AND Cs need to sweep. The 1-seed IS a wrap.
