"Resume Activities"???

Are they Nuts!!!

I think it makes sense.
Just don't assume 'resume activities' means 'as they were previously'

For example Id have my health and nutrition guys, plus my training staff on Skype with my players.
We are going through this at work right now. It hamstrings us, but we can't just stop.

Kevin Love made a similar gesture earlier. Mark Cuban too I think.

Based on information from China and now Italy number of infected is highest after 3 weeks, than number is dropping for another 3 weeks when there is minimum numbers of newly infected.

Based on this info NBA will continue after 45 or 60 days imo. I think the rest of regular season will be canceled and they will play playoffs based on Wednesday rankings.

This is nice and all, but it's bull that the players who are worth tens of millions of dollars are expected to make up this shortfall, instead of the owners who are worth hundreds of millions or billions and refuse to offer their workers paid leave during a public crisis. :noway: Good on Mark Cuban for picking up the tab, but all the other owners should do the same.

Both Italy and the Wuhan area in China implemented TOTAL LOCKDOWNS, which is why the numbers of newly infected people are falling. The virus will keep spreading anywhere that's not in total lockdown -- this includes the U.S. and Canada at the moment.

We should probably be doing that ourselves until it dies out, but our systems and community are too stupid to go along with something like that. Americans are arrogant

Ey, it turns out that amid all the competition, NBA is a brotherhood. Beautiful to see that players and teams are willing to pay employees. Stay safe, lads.
Good assessment:

So, the Owners have been wanting to kick the NBA further into the Summer anyway, huh?
I wonder exactly what dates they were thinking?

Would they want to Start later in the year, as well?
AND hey, eliminate all Back-to-Backs, while you're at it.

What did the tweet say?

That Ramona Shelburne said that no Celtic got sick.

I think it was deleted because she said she had heard none of the players on those 5 teams that played Utah recently got sick, and then the Christian Wood news came out.

Kevin Love made a similar gesture earlier. Mark Cuban too I think.

The two really big-money Celtics, in Gordo and Kemba, as well as the ownership of the C's, don't seem to have moved similarly here in Boston. I don't think Kemba and Gordon really feel that much like Bostonians.

The delay on ownership's part is conjectured to be related to the idea of sharing responsibility with the Bruins. Are there other teams in a similar situation that have moved faster? I don't think Washington counts, because I think Ted Leonsis owns both teams.

Looks like the NBA has to play 70 Games on the season, once things resume.
They need to do that to keep their revenue from the TV Network contracts.

Thanks to the Celtics for doing this. Like I said earlier, this is the team's responsibility, not something that should depend on the charity of players. So I appreciate the Celtics organization coming through and doing the right thing.
