Obviously for me it's Larry Bird the Legend himself. I grew up watching him and the battles those Celtics had with the Lakers were epic and revolutionized the NBA paving the way for Michael Jordan in the 90s.
My second favorite player is Kevin McHale followed by Bob Cousy.

Man, all the starters on the 84/86 teams & Reggie. DJ probably my favorite, but loved all those guys.
Pierce/KG too, but I was a kid back in the 80s, so I just cared even more then.

Go to youtube and watch Bird and Walton run the pick and roll. Pure basketball nirvana!
No one has run it better since.

KG. He is just a different breed than most. Not to mention a phenomenal basketball player.

Pierce - we are the same age so it feels like we grew up together. I also vividly recall the day he was drafted and me freaking out because I couldn't believe he fell all the way to us at 10.
My son's middle name is Pierce. Had I listened to my partner, my daughter's middle name would have been Tatum. If only I had known we were going to draft that stud 6 years later. Lol.
