Just watched the Smart highlight reel. And I'm convinced, that at least in my lifetime, he's the most unique player to don the Celtics uniform (minimum 3 seasons).

This clip is illustrative of 3 things:
1) Marcus is one of the most unique versatile defenders I've ever seen
2) Post entry is a lost art in this game
3) Just another reminder of why offense centered on "back to the basket" banging in the post is inefficient and easily defended.

My main takeaways from the vids:
1) Brown and Tatum have significantly improved their handles which gave them the ability to probe and navigate defenses with the ball until a teammate becomes open.
2) Screening, constant movement, and having multiple options are keys to Brad's offense. If you don't have the ball, find a way to get to open spaces.
3) Theis and Hayward are great cutters. Brown has also immensely improved in that area from day 1.

Daniel Theis was among the league-leaders in screen assists and screen assist points last/this (?) season. I don't know if they will change how they officiate these seals next season, but they gave our wings a lot of driving/scoring opportunities. It won't surprise me if other teams will install this in their sets in the future if NBA doesn't call it differently.
